More videos with Kimberly, please! These are so QUICK and INFORMATIVE, with an upbeat energy. I still like the longer-form videos that Jason does but for sharing "quick hits" with my team members, Kimberly's videos are it! Thank you!
Hey there! You can customize your Card Table columns, but there is not currently a custom field option. But we'd love to hear what your needs are and how you would use it. Reach out to our team by email at support@basecamp.com and give them the details. We're always listening. -Kimberly
Is there a way to view all of the card tables available to one user in a singular space? i.e. "My Assignments" I wish there was a "My Tables" page so I could visually see the general status of all columns I have assignments on.
Cards that are assigned to you do appear under "My Assignments" or "My Assignments with Dates" but they are not separate from other things you're assigned (like to-dos). -Kimberly
Hi there! You can't currently import to-dos to the card table. If that's something that would be useful for you, definitely let our team know. You can submit a feature request here: www.basecamp.com/support. -Kimberly
You sure can! With the card open, click the ••• in the top right and select "Copy." From there, you'll be able to select which project's Card Table you want to copy the card to. Just one thing to note, when you copy a card over, the future changes you make to that card won't be updated in both places. They are basically two separate cards at that point, so changes in once place aren't duplicated in the other. Hope that helps! -Kimberly
Hey Jeff! Currently there's not a way to rename the "Not Now" and "Done" sections. But, you can absolutely create more columns in your Card Table with the + button and drag those columns into any order you would like. Hope that helps! -Kimberly
At 37signals, we don't put work in progress into the "Done" section of the Card Table. We suggest only moving cards to that column when you no longer need to track the progress or status. Definitely reach out to our team if you need more help or clarification. guides@basecamp.com -Kimberly
