Hi there. So happy to have discovered your content! I'm curious how well these devices indicate relaxation of the pelvic floor (for hypertonic cases)?

@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered 3 года назад
It’s definitely worth going to physiotherapy. They can even do release of scar tissues in the pelvis that can reduce the symptoms of the rectocele and might even enable you to empty. Make sure to keep your motions at a 3 or 4 on the Bristol stool scale, avoid constipation and allow the smooth muscle of the rectum to do the emptying rather than pushing your poops out.

@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered 4 года назад
Hi Kavitta, with Dysnergia you need to focus on relaxing the pelvic floor as it’s the inability to relax the muscles for defecation that causes the constipation. These devices could make the condition worse. I suggest you work on relaxing/lengthening. You could try this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2yx0_PK0Q-4.html

Ma'am, I've been diagnosed with Dysnergia and also having Erectile Dysfunction. Can biofeedback therapy help in both of these conditions?
@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered Год назад
Yes, biofeedback is a good option when working to overcome dysinergia. Has your doctor arranged for you to see pelvic floor physio? I would use biofeedback under their guidance as the treatment for dysinergia is a little different to standard biofeedback (usually involves putting a small balloon in rectum and working to relax and pass the balloon out).

Hey where can I buy these devices ? Do they also help with strengthening the muscles or do they just tell you your pelvic strength level ?
@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered 3 года назад
The biofeedback devices tell you your strength level, the electrical stimulation devices can stimulate contractions of the pelvic floor. I always advise that you t try to connect brain to pelvic floor without electrical stimulation and then if you need some extra help, you can use the devices. I will add some links to these products in the video description 😁

I saw that you have also a video with ems devices. Which one is better for CPPS for Men with tight muscles. Do those machines only be used to tighten the muscles or also to relax pelvic muscles?
@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered 4 года назад
Tens units are used for pelvic floor relaxation. I would be sure to use Tens and not an EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) device. One triggers action potentials for full contractions and the other will produce a mild stimulation that can help with pain relief and relaxation.

Do these help stress incontinence due to hypermobile urethra? I have signed surgery consent forms for a urethral sling but I haven't scheduled the surgery date yet because I scared of the possible complications.
@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered 3 года назад
You would be better working on strengthening your pelvic floor, which will take time but it will be better than either surgery or devices. Have you been working with a pelvic floor physiotherapist? You could try this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rGwxlWQt-S4.html You could also sign up for the 30 day challenge on the channel and do the self assessment to identify which parts of your pelvic floor are not responding: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Nev3sRLL2Y.html The challenge also gives you a pdf which shows visually the different components of a Kegel to ensure you are getting all parts of the pelvic floor working. Bear in mind, stress incontinence is greatly impacted by the management of intraabdominal pressure, if you can learn to manage those pressures, you can eliminate incontinence. If they are proposing a mesh sling, my advice would be to run swiftly in the opposite direction. I had a mesh sling implanted and it almost ruined my life. Was left completely incontinent when it was removed. Slings are permanent. Removing them also removes a lot of native tissue leaving no support under the neck of the urethra. My bladder neck was damaged and the mesh had created a small hole in my bladder wall. Took 18 months to regain continence when it was removed. There is no quick fix for incontinence but with persistent steady practice, big improvements can happen.

what about something for a person with pelvic floor tension to stop squeezing the pelvic floor instead of the abs or glutes.
@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered Год назад
There are devices that allow you to see the tension which can make it easier to relax. One model I have (not in this video) is used by physiotherapists with computer software that can show on screen how you are contracting. You can then see the changes when you relax which is really effective biofeedback. On the device itself, there are lights that also show the level of contraction/relaxation, so you can use that at home when doing the prescribed exercises. Once you learn how it feels to relax, it’s much easier to do. You should then combine that with specific pelvic floor relaxation exercises that target other areas of the body in order to also adapt the tissues within other areas that can contribute to pelvic floor tension. Hope that answers your question!

@TheFlowerEmpowered
@TheFlowerEmpowered Год назад
It’s hard to recommend an exact video without assessing your exact body for tension. What you should do is speak with pelvic floor physiotherapist and get an assessment, not just of your pelvic floor, but also your body as you are a unity so issues in other areas can impact your pelvic floor. There is a full playlist of pelvic floor relaxation videos on the channel. You could try some of those while waiting for your Physio appointment and when you find poses that provide relief, practice those. Hope that helps.

The side angle shot distances you from the viewer. Just use jump a cut with the front angle shot. The side angle shot only works when you have an interviewer or interviewee across from you. Otherwise it's quite distracting, and considered amateurish to use it. Film School 101.

Since centuries the optimal manner to overcome not only occasional constipation but chronic constipation too will be taking castor oil. Remember that castor oil is the only laxative that will not work in the intestines by irritating them, but by activating and synthesizing certain substances in the human body. So any habituation of the human body or diminishing laxative effect is absolutely impossible and castor oil will be suitable in a special manner for Pelvic Floor Dyssynergia. Take 1 tablespoon (= 15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach and 1 to 2 hours later you will remark its relieving effects.
