I know you are a student, I don't see where you are selling anything. You should consider a Patron page or a Go Fund Me page. I don't mind kicking in a little cash to folks that help me out. It wouldn't be much to start but it would be nice to have some pocket cash for pizza or to upgrade equipment. Give it some thought, I got the feeling you are going to be around for a long time. Great work Moonpie
I have been looking for a good color grading tutorial in ages that explains the "why" and "what". I found it here. You're a master. Thank you so much! Subscribed!
watched many tutorials on channel mixer before but this tutorial is the best ever where every detail and those confusing little things are explained very well. Thank you so much bro. 😊
Honey Badger he onestly deserves more, because he is able to explain complicated things in an so kind of easy way, and you will always understand it. and he didn't even study graphics design or something, it's just amazing how good an informational his Videos are, big thumbs up
I love how you get straight to the point, and with every video I'm learning something unexpected and new, even though I'm not new to Photoshop. Thank you!
I watch loads of editing videos and yours are head and shoulders above the others! You explain what the tools do rather than just use them to get an effect. Can't tell you how useful this is. Keep up the good work mate :)
This is the 3rd video of yours that I'm watching. I've been using PS for quite some time (trying to get some form of understanding of it) , and I'm sure I've learned more about PS in your 3 videos than I've learned in all the time I've been using it!! I love how you explain what each function does and what it's for, it just makes it so much easier for us to actually understand what we're doing and the "why" behind it. Most videos just shows you "how to", but don't explain the actual buttons on PS and their functions. Great videos, love your personality and the gentle way you explain things! I'm a follower for live, henceforth!! Thank you and keep up the great work!
I am late to the party, but this is one of the best explanations of how the channel mixer works I've seen on YT. Kudos to you sir for the excellent tutorial! Surely deserves an upvote.
Thanks for the tutorial, it is easier to understand when the base concepts gets clarity. Thankyou for teaching so well! Could you also make a video on designing in channels... It would be great 😊
I don't understand how to describe, you know how good u explained the examples of bottles really bahut acche se samjha diya aapne. Aur mujhe acche se samajh bhi aa gaya thanku so much for the videos u keep on explaining us. Like toh banta hai aapke efforts k liye 👍
After a day of headache (LOL), I finally had the click on what channel mixing does (i.e. how to substitute a channel by the information of other channels). As a way to put images in grayscale it is great, just as it serves well as an element in the workflow of masking. I would however not use it to drastically change the colors of elements of the image. Though it works fine, I find the temporary conversion to the Lab color space worthwhile. Not only is the Lab space more intuitive (a = green/magenta, b = blue/yellow), the change of colors by the curves in a and b proves to be much easier, and above all: as the Lab space is bigger, the results seem to be more clear and neat. I would love to see if you could make a comparison between channel blending and the color change in the Lab color mode.
No, not the same. Channel Mixer is a global change effecting everything -- especially luminosity and contrast, not just color. In B&W processing, Channel mixer is used, for example, to eliminate two color channels leaving the one of greatest contrast -- no color issues at all.

Hello Unmesch -- I´ve seen very many of your very fine tutorials. I hadn´t seen this one yet until today -- thank you very much. I have finally UNDERSTOOD the channel mixer! take care, Heiko.
great video, but, as someone who knows nothing about sound, the acoustics in this vid made me physically uncomfortable. Kinda like really unpleasant ASMR.
Hi Unmesh ... you are amazing and so talented, I love your content and the way you teach, it's very concise and thorough and joyfully presented, the best teacher for Photoshop tutorial ... now I can understand channel mixer better, thank you very much, God bless you, warm regards ...
Omg, I spent over an hour trying to find info that would help me out, and I finally found you. This video lays out exactly what I needed to know. I didn't understand what, for example, the green and blue sliders did under the red channel. Now, I can figure out my coloring a little better. Thank you so much!
Brilliant. Clear, simple vision expressed by a talented teacher. Now I understand and can use this tool comfortably. i stumbled into channel mixer and found it very useful for a detail in one of my product photos, but just didn't get how it worked so magically for me. Now, there's no experimenting to make use of its reliable benefit.
You are the best teacher that I have ever seen in Utube or any textbook. I watched several videos, but they didn't give the information I have wanted for so long time. Thank you, young man. I subscribed to your channel, thank you so much.
