It can solve finite element analysis questions? Can it solve structural issues and identify issues in engineering designs? Imagine a ChatGPT that could pinpoint weaknesses in bridges and structural beams
Chat GPT consistently gets basic newtonian mechanics problems wrong. In my opinion, there need to be better plugins to handle physics, chemistry and mathematics equations accordingly.
No it can do better, and its abilities will keep increasing..... at the moment chat gpt 5 is still in th training phase.... who knows what will be its capabilities when released.... maybe if integrated with a CAD tool it may create products simply via a small plaintext in natural language....
@@VDEngineering that’s freaking awesome man. Unfortunately for us Canadians, we aren’t allowed to work on ITAR controlled companies. And the ITAR controlled companies are where the most fun is being had :(.
I am in Canada also, there's defense companies here too. Also the ITAR rules are being eased, I know of chinese nationals hired at SpaceX etc, companies make exceptions for highly skilled candidates.
@@VDEngineering Oh for real? You're in Canada! I would have never guessed that. I am in Vancouver. Honestly, with the new commercial space economy, they really need a new overhaul of ITAR. I tried MDA after my bachelors but didn't get a single response.

@@VDEngineering they will, especially white collars since industries don't give a damn about ethics as much as they can obtain better products with less costs, they will.... at least it will be very hard to be emplyed since each engineer will have a productivity 10 times bigger, so only 1 engineer out of 10 will be able to survive in the industry.... i do not want to scare you, but if you have better arguments to prove me wrong please tell me
