The dissolver is spot on to what hes saying here. Ive used a similar product and it acts the exact same way. Keep in mind to be cautious around aluminum, it will "pit" it, looks like tiny black dimonds if its not washed properly.
Scott great content always like seeing the dirty work. As for the pump choosing buisness numbers sense trailer to the building and boom to daily jobs doesn't matter the make we all have our favorite look forward to meetings you in person at WOC
I think the simple answer is do you need the extra boom right now? If its not making it hard to get to your other jobs, keep rolling with the putz for the highrise.
I use something similar. Works great on the shotcrete nozzle as well. Any concrete that is inside the air channel that water won’t get out, turns to straight mush with a some of this. Giving me some motivation to get mine squeaky clean!
We carry 20’ lengths of hose on this unit. 25’ lengths will also fit, with a slight bit more ingenuity when loading/unloading. Credit my brother for building the setup on this particular rig 😁
@@canadianconcretepumper1979 my screed board gets cleaned every use like it still looks brand new. And its 3 years old. But my Georgia buggy. Could def get a little clean up
You can remove the 5” outlet flange and get a scaling hammer inside of the tube. Has to be just the right size and combination of chipping hammer and chisel bit however.
@@simog3744 Happens to the best of us. These S-tubes can be difficult to clean due to the contour of the tube itself. I'll usually stuff my camera-phone inside of the tube to double check for cleanliness at days end.
I keep seeing the rubber flap the folds over the rear of the hopper and over the outlet lines, I was wondering if that's a requirement in Canada? Any info on where to order one in the USA?
Yes, it is mandated here in our province of Canada. Without it in place, ready mix supply can and will refuse to back onto the pump. There’s several companies making/selling them now. ConForms, Python, Seattle Tarp Co. to name a few. The setup we use is built in our shop from heavy conveyor belting. It’s great piece of mind having everything shielded at the back end of the pump. There’s been cases of brand new reducers/elbows blowing apart (especially with the influx off 3rd party/off-shore branded gear in todays market). Can’t be too safe!
Hey John, yes I will be there Monday-Friday. We are planning a livestream the week prior to the show and hope to have a few announcements with regards to plans for the show week. I will most definitely be bringing a stack of CCP stickers with me!
I need to be honest my guy... Waste of time. I hate to say it, but you should not be doing it. Some1 else should. U got bigger fish to fry. Also the pump works w residue on it no matter what correct? I get it tho. U want your truck looking good. So its not a waste if time, im. Not saying dont clean yur pumps. Clean them b4 Christmas break but they are going to get dirty no matter what correct? Im. Just busting your balls, giving u a lil more engagement
Love it Bobby!!!! I’m self-admittedly a little/lot OCD when it comes to keeping the rigs clean and organized. I’ve always said you’ll never see a great operator whom doesn’t keep his rig clean and organized (assuming his/her company doesn’t “seat hop” operators).
