Using DX Maps to understand HF propagation conditions 

Excellent and informative video. I even use this DX Maps site to check for FM DX. Back in the days of analogue TV, SpE was excellent for receiving distant Band 1 TV channels.

I think theoretically the high bands at night should be dead, because they just penetrate the ionosphere and does not reflect back.
