I’m met two of your workers while out fishing at marine stadium, in Long Beach, they said they really loved working for you guys and thought me some new fishing tips, I think one of there names was Aiden or something, but they were really cool
@@LondonCarnaval We were using an Okuma Makaira 50W II reel, paired with a PCH-C-741XXXH rod. The setup was a typical kite rig, using frozen fly fish as bait. I don’t remember the brand of balloons, but they can be picked up at local tackle shops for about $20 each. We keep a helium tank on board to fill the balloons. We used a Mustad 5/0 5x heavy treble hook and a 10/0 Mustad 7691 hook for the fly fish rig. Our boat is a brand new 39-foot Contender center console an absolutely wicked boat with triple 350 Mercury outboard motors 🤙
For real. Imagine biting down on that with full force, thinking you just snagged a well-earned meal, and all of a sudden your fat ass is dragged through the sea via like 8 fish hooks and 12 staples all tangled up in your throat, just to be stabbed and lifted out of the water by some strange talking apes, and left there to reverse-drown. What a way to go.
Imagine being caught, frozen for weeks, thawed out, having a popsicle stick shoved through you, having your wings stapled, and then a much bigger version of you being caught to feed a superior species of godlike alien beings
Hey guys I’m looking forward to getting out on your boat again, this time for a a bluefin trip with yall, I know this year you will be most likely all booked but I will be bugging you for a 2025 spot soon. Hope you’re all doing well.
@@johnthemadviking Hey John! We’ve been doing good. Hope you are too! The bluefin are going off right now if you want to get out this season. Yesterday, Andrew got 4. We have dates available, and the bluefin typically stick around until the end of October. If not this year, looking forward to a trip next year 🤙
You can buy those little pink disposable helium tanks from party center and tell her it’s for a surprise. Then surprise her with 300lbs of bluefin, just don’t forget to fill up some balloons when you deliver it to her.
This 100% works and is probably optimal for bluefin. Ive been on a deep sea trip where it was that same rig but we used a kite. Really talented crew on that boat
How much $ is the blue fin worth.... As They go extinct ...thanks to #Asia , insatiable #suburban #Sushi holes, ..#Mitaubishi had the world's largest freezer dedicated to decimating Blue Fin #Tuna into extinction when they cam auction off their stock at name your price profits , one fish ...2 million million ten dollars ..humans suck
Super video) We are waiting for the full version on the channel. The question is this device with a helium ball, is it custom, home-made, or can you buy it ready-made somewhere? I would greatly appreciate a link to the seller.
This is a waste of helium and also you probably shouldnt use staples since they're not meant to carode quickly like hooks are. I'll give you creativity points though
I’m hella jealous, I love fishing the salty seas! And I’d kill for an opportunity to do this. Looks like some seriously wicked fun times and good eats!
This is the most ingenious idea and set up ever. To think of rigging a fish to help disguise and fly it is literally turning small change into big bucks. Andrew is a man with his brain activity inginuity active all the time. Way to go Andrew with the pop cickle stick.
What do you think happened. Do you think they were saving footage of catching a real tuna just to fake catching one? Of course, it's going to be low on energy, It has to be to be caught. The thing was still moving on the boat. You think they have a 10,000 gallon fish tank somewhere on there? They probably have an uncut version in the full video too that you didn't bother to watch
Catching a Tuna is very difficult. Reel it in, it goes back out, reel it in, it goes back out. You rest, he's resting. You can't rest. 15 to 20 minutes of struggle. Good thing they are delicious.
Bro really went all out. not only did he put some extra thinking sauce to make the bait look alive flying in the water but he also Drew a pic of the bait and attached the balloon to it lolol
That supposed Giant looks pretty small to some I used to see on Wicked tuna.. Looks like it weighs about a little over 250lbs. Giant tuna weight about 600-900+ lbs
When I was about 5-7 years old, I told my teacher about flying fish. She didn't believe me and pretty much laughed at me in front of the entire class. I still vaguely remember it. I can't remember if I found a book with an article about them or if she researched it, but I do remember she apologized to me. Wish I could remember her name. Lol
Awesome set up but to be fair, if you're on a charter and they put you almost on top of a school, a shiny hook will be easily enough to catch one of them
Once caught, immediately head to shore because there's a reason commercial fishing vessels put the fish in a flash freezer. The bacteria that these things can grow are deadly to humans and grow rapidly. Put a 200lb rope and toss it back into the water to keep it alive as you head back, to further preserve the fish... And hope you don't catch a shark.
Flying Fish. Resident of the Caribbean here, delicious especially fried but has fine bones that require skill to bebone. Possible though. Tastes great!
