Thank you for this explanation, it was very useful! I have noticed that Big Data is now separate lecture, are you planning to make a video about it also?
I will record a lecture when I have the time. However in the meantime the chapter in our free lecture notes should be clear enough (there are no calculations involved). If not then do ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum on our free website.
They have always been in the syllabus as assumed knowledge from Paper MA (was Paper F2) and there are Paper MA lectures on them that you can find on our free website.
@@opentuition so do u think that MA level knowledge is enough to be used at PM level...as it is an advanced paper so at this advanced level can we use F2 knowledge?
@@hibakhan1567 Of course, and the same applies to other assumed knowledge from Paper MA. There is nothing extra on correlation and regression examinable in Paper PM above what was examinable in Paper MA. The fact that is an advanced paper is why there are extra topics. Correlation and regression and time series cannot be asked in a more advanced way. Until about ten years ago they were listed specifically in the syllabus and were occasionally asked, then the examiner removed them from the syllabus (but made it clear that they were assumed knowledge) and now she has decided to specifically mention them in the syllabus again.
