Using kylie throwsticks to hunt iguana in Florida!

In this video I go down to southern Florida to hunt iguana with aboriginal Australian weapons known as "kylie". Unfortunately I picked a week that was super thunderstormy though so I didnt see too much but here are the highlights of the trip!

My hats off to you for your accuracy. So many narrow misses on hard targets in a difficult environment! Primitive hunting is really challenging!!

yeah it sure is! the trees and the water certainly make getting them a lot harder than a goanna i imagine. One day I hope to see if i can convince the aussie government to lemme go there and give it a try over there =) Id love to try again for iguana in florida too sometime. i just need to pick a week that isnt forcasted to thunderstorms literally every single day nearly all day ^^;

Iguanas aren’t the only lizard in those canals man. There’s the bigger, toothier one called the alligator. Might be a good idea to hunt from a kayak or little boat.

true, but then id be throwing toward the cars on shore, and also possibly lose my kylies in the water ^^; (they sink).. still not good practice to swim there though

Super fun video. Very entertaining and rather educational too. Know how to swim just fine but never saw rope climbing like that. Not looking forward to watching you fight with an alligator. Keep your wits about you.
