Thanks so much for watching! This video is showing how I dyed weave using the L’Oréal HiColor line.
The hair used in this video has been worn and dyed multiple times and still looks great after being colored once again. The hair used can be found here:

Products Used:
Loreal HiColor permanent hair dye (red)
Creme developer volume 30
Aussie Moist Shampoo
Ion color solutions after color sealer
DISCLAIMER: I am not a professional (yet). This is just how I colored the hair. Everyone does it differently and has different results 🙂

does that hair dye bleed everytime you wash it? does it stain clothes/pillowcase/towels??? it's a beautiful red...my hair is red, but not as red as the hair you just dyed...I might try it..thank you for sharing...

Bambi.72 yes it’s bleeds so bad & I did notice recently that it does stain white fabric a little if it’s rubbing against it too often. & also when it bleeds it doesn’t really fade that much so that’s a plus 😌

hair won’t bleed if you thoroughly rinse it out. make sure you rinse with cold water to keep your color

Yes red hair bleeds, less and less every time you wash but it does still bleed, the only time my hair has stained anything is when it’s wet or damp. It’s a beautiful color though. So it’s worth it I promise.

I suggest next time leave it in a bit longer and get a volume 40 instead. The red comes out more bright.

nai rodriguez only if your starting off with a lighter color like blonde. If it’s a darker color then you could try it but it may damage the hair from being over processed

If my hair was bleached before would it damage it more ? I only used dis when I had virgin hair den went blonde but I wanna go red again 😭 been using manic panic since I was pregnant & couldn't use dis hair dye now I can but was wondering

Marie Ramirez if you put any permanent color on it will damage it more. Honestly I wouldn’t suggest using this only bc your hair is already pre lightened, it’s kinda pointless. You should just get a semi or Demi just bc it will end up washing out eventually anyway. BUT if you do use the HiColor line just deep condition often!

Only the bottom of my hair is lighten my roots are pretty grown out since I haven't bleached it since I was pregnant I wanted too use it on my whole head but it will be really uneven I dyed my hair & only used 20 developer but my hair came out darker den when I would use semi dye I used the hi color hot red

Jhanvi Nandu it stays a pretty long time. It faded a tad but it’s still red & looks good. My friend still gets compliments on her hair every time she wears it. & yes the hair was previously lightened to a light brownish color

Well i used this exact color on my hair about 4 or 5 months ago and it faded barely. It bleeds when you wash it but it never fades too much. Btw my hair was black and the color came out bright as hell. This was my first time dying it and I used 3 boxes of dye and 7 ounces of 30 volume developer.

And it washes off your skin so easily so you dont even have to worry about stains. If you get it all over your room or bathroom you can just take some acetone and it'll come right off your counters or whatever

Do you find it’s easier to dye the bundles before ? Or to dye the entire wig once it’s made ?

Liya Lorraine well it depends on whatever look your going for. It’s wayyy easier to color the bundles if you want an all over one color or ombré look. If you want specific colors in specific spots (for example if you want red on one side & blue on the other) then it’s better to color the wig once it’s made

I wanna do exactly this color , I already have the hicolor red & developer .. I have like orange colored hair because the last product I used obviously washed away which was splat ( bleached & all ) what do I do just repeat the same process you did ?

As long as it isn’t dyed black , color doesn’t lift color. If it’s virgin or never been colored yes.

Shelby W as many times as you would like as long as your deep conditioning frequently. BUT my suggestion would be to limit the amount of times just so the hair can last longer & stay healthy as long as possible. I usually don’t start dying my hair until it’s getting old and I can cut it when the ends start to look bad

Yes the more you bleach and and put heart to it the more you damage the hair but as long as you color in intervals and deep condition the hair it should be fine

ESC Meda yes and no. Any dye will ruin your hair if you don’t care for it properly after so lots of deep conditioning afterwards is a must!

Tia Rose get the Lorel magenta and ion red with 30 volume developer and it will come out super red and it’s so beautiful, I use those permanent colors and my hair is soft silky and beautiful..
