Good Morning Angel - thank you for your love and concern for us here in the UK. Yes it got really bad yesterday - highest number of deaths - 1610 in a day and we are over 90,000 in total since the epidemic started! It is frightening to see how a small virus can have such a devastating impact! I just saw Rob's excellent video this morning and boy is he on top of his season! Love his style and expert interpretation of what's been going on in his collection. Another master class from a TRUE JEDI MASTER! Thank you very much Professor Balls! Being asthmatic i am familuar with nebulizers, they are also used for people with COPD. We havnt been told by the vet to use a nubulizer just yet. Zuri only has 2 injections left and seems bit better but still refusing food. She even refused a multi tonight! 😮😪
Evening Caz, glad that Zuri is improving and responding to her treatments. I hope she feels strong enough to feed next time. Please let us know how she does. Our clown girl fed last week but missed last night. I am just pleased that she has started to feed and hope that her body will recover from her cold shipment from Europe so that she can get back into weekly feeding.
Hi Ya James - we have been treating for about 4 weeks and small improvements so far. I think its because we haven't got the flow rate right and I have just learnt that we should be using a antiseptic version of F10 which we are ordering today. I have also learnt that we can do the treatment up to twice a day for 20 mins each, plus we should be leaving it in the rub for another 20 mins in good ambient temps. So thanks to the feedback from Nick White and Emmanuel Fernandez we have adjusted and will let you know how we get on!
@@newforestmorphs1377 oh ok zuri has been on antibiotics for 2 weeks orally and then 2 weeks so far injections so about the same time as u guys then good to no that there is people out there willing to discuss as most don't want to and deny ever having a RTI

The humidifier you showed afterwards on amazon was what I was thinking originally so you could use it on a mobile basis, going rub to rub or even rack by rack if it could be sealed with airflow between levels. More like a safe sanitising system you'd use perhaps once a week as standard.. its definitely got me thinking 🤔

One of my females had RI took her to my reptile vet she had 5 injections one a day. I used a fogger with F10 antiseptic solution as f10 disinfectant can cause problems as its only for external use. My female was better after a week if you handle your snakes you will hear wheezing.
Good Morning Nick - thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Today we are going to cover this point before moving onto anti-biotics. I want to try the antiseptic F10 approach - I didn't realise that it was even out there. May be we have misread our VET's advice. She may have meant us to use the antiseptic version and that might indicate one of the reasons are snake is making small improvements over a 3 week period. THe other thing I have learnt from my additional research is that we should consider doing the misting for up to twice a day, morning and evening, and not only mist them for 20 mins on each session, but leave them on ambient temps in the mist rub for a further 20 mins so they can benefit from the mist. I am told that snakes can hold their breath for up to 10 mins, so it makes sense to give them more time for the treatment to work. I am going to get a better nebuliser - Jared ordered the one featured in our film yesterday. This will give us more control over MIST flow rate. I will keep an eye on its behaviour and rest the process if necessary and take VET advice. I was told by her not to do antibiotics and F10 MIST as the same time. But I may return to anti-biotics if the F10 is no good. I am also looking at different non intrusive ways of using anti-biotics - there are several options besides shots - oral is possible in two forms. I have heard of antibiotics being used with injections into the snake and given orally under VET advice. I have never heard of it being used in a fogger. You have to take professional advice on this one as there are side effects that could damage your snake. They will weigh your snake and prescribe the right dilution before treating. The danger of using a fogger may be getting the dilution wrong and so if your vat recommends it’s use in a fogger proceed for short periods and monitor very carefully the reactions of the snake.
