There is an option for sharing it but you can't hand it over completely. I tried it and searched al lot about the topic but onenote does not support this feature yet...

You can't. OneNote 2016 is only supported on Windows still, not Mac OS

Go to Home tab, 'basic text' section, 'highlight text color' and lots of colors become available. At least it is in OneNote 2016 (I imagine also the free online app too).

Also, if you click on the down arrow beside a highlighter, you can change its colour.

Hello! I was searching for the same thing. After some google search, I found out that it was a feature in the old versions and that the latest version doesn't have it. Yes that feature is seen on the 2016 version, not the more recent version.

The work autosaves and syncs to your One Drive account. No need to 'save' as you do in other programs.

I think you just type in whatever key words you're searching for in the upper right search box, then it will find the results, and if they're in any audio recording you made in OneNote, then select it and it will open to that spot in the recording. ex. you made a recording about apples...in one part the audio talked about 'rotten apples'. Later type 'rotten apples' in search box and it will find the result, then select and it opens the recording to that spot.

+Jotham Ong What I did is write a lot of essay outlines (like you see in the video) and learnt them. Pretty straight forward but it's very efficient!

Might I suggest making future videos for particular subjects, for example, reading French comprehensively or how to write the language better, or how to go along learning math throughout the year, identifying literary devices, etc. which I think would really expand the channel to a wider audience. Just suggestions, up to you!

RAJESH KUMAR - just click on the notebook, section, or page that you want to move, drag and drop it where you want.

If you are talking about information on a page, select the section you want to move, right click cut and then paste it where you would like it.

SweetLullaby Night - yes. If you are using the Microsoft 10 version, click on the down arrow beside the yellow highlighter to change the highlighter colour.

Pukar Shahi - if you have the stylus (pen), you can easily draw diagrams or write mathematical equations. You can also import diagrams and annotate or highlight them.

crestina Aghavni - there is an add book tab at the bottom of the book column.

+Leyla Here hello! You can 'close' Notebooks on Mac OneNote but you can't actually delete them. To do so I think you need to go OneNote online. Hope this helps :)

Like Leo says, you have to go to your onedrive account online. There you will find the original files from OneNote. There you can also choose to delete them. After you deleted them there, you have to close the notebokes in the OneNote app itself and that's it!

d1mples91 -sure, but I personally wouldn’t use this program for that function. There are better programs available that allows better control of formatting.

Drugz and Medicines - my experience is that you can annotate and highlight, but not alter the original text/image/structure.

I find that this program has allowed me to organize the information better than in google doc.

Jo H - but is great for drawing out webs and then condensing the web to printable size. I was unable to create the though webs in other programs, but this one allows it.

Kristinka Waldorf because on onenote, it synchronises automatically (unless you hangs the settings to manual of course), and it also seperates different pages in different folders if yah know what I mean

I find that this allows better organization, plus it is quicker to import handouts and annotate/highlight them. I can add all my thoughts to the handout - without running out of room. I also like that I can create “to do” lists that I can later click on individual tasks to show that they have been completed. Notes are automatically dated by when the page was created. It is quicker to reference between class notes as all pages are brought up with a single click. No time needed for saving procedures, so I can hurry on to my next class. I could go on...but these are just a few of my top reasons for using OneNote over Microsoft Word.
