Using Residual Plots to Determine Which Transformation Achieved Linearity

In this example, we look at four different transformations of a non-linear relationship (between shark length and weight). Using the scatterplots we determine which transformation achieved linearity. Then we use each transformation to predict a shark weight and comment on which predictions we think are the most accurate.
