SO I've been using rice water for over a year now and I don't do all the extra steps either...but I do leave my rice water in over night or sometimes as a leave in conditioner or i'll add conditioner in the spray bottle! The results are even better. Love your hair doll!
Am a guy my hair is very curly but it's honestly just short and it's soft curly not like these dudes with naps only down side is since it's curly it makes it look even shorter that's why am growing it
Great video! I am a white woman wit 3a-4a curls. I have to check for porosity again after 2nd cancer treatment, but it used to be low porosity so I couldn't use protein or keratin treatments very often. This is a fabulous video, thank you! And congratulations on finishing your college degree!

I have low porosity hair, I created a rice water mixture mixed with a few essential oils for repair and the opening of the pores and a leave in conditioner , I keep it in the refrigerator. It works wonders. It softened the texture and I constantly have growth , about 1-2 inches every two weeks . I’m going to start selling it so I can see if other people have the same results as me .

I've been using orange or lemon peel and when I tell u that ur scalp feels like it's having a fun party 🎉🤗❤️❤️! My hair is looking l'm 3 a/b & it has grown significantly! My hair has changed to high porosity and it's fine strands w medium density. It's in it's healthiest state!

This is by far the simplest rice water plan I’ve seen and I am confident now to make my own. Thank you! I used a rice water rinse for the first time last week using a pre-made rice water product. I got it from Amazon and, incredibly, the only only ingredients were rice, water and preservatives. The brand is Chebe USA, and it is NOT fancy…but you don’t want fancy for this! You want effective, simple and natural. As natural as possible, short of making it yourself. It was worth the (inexpensive!) price to me for the first try. I was very skeptical about it having ANY benefit to my hair. My hair is very dense, very porous and VERY fine. It’s about as long as Natasha’s, but is generally “uncooperative,” as she says, meaning for me that it tangles if you even look at it sideways. One strand knots, giant locs, you name it…my hair will try it. So I was very skeptical. But…I’m not skeptical anymore. The difference in detangling after just ONE use was incredible. Shocking, really. I was able to get my detangling brush through my hair with no trouble. Usually, I need to spend about 30 minutes (at best) just to FINGER detangle my hair. But last week I tried this Chebe rice water as a pre-poo. Amazing. I needed to use about half of the bottle, though, to saturate my hair so it’s time to graduate to making my own. I’m grateful to Natasha for this primer on how to do it simply and quickly. I’m also grateful I don’t have to search out exotic citrus fruit peels in order to make this work. I only wish I’d learned about this rice water rinse back when I was in college! Ahhh…YOUTH!!
Hi Natasha, Thank you for your video, First after you pored water into the rice and set it aside for a day to ferment before your wash day, can one still use the rice as in to cook it to eat?
Now my story is this; I used to have very long admirably hair but now I can barely hold it into one, Worst is that my hair at the back is 1/6 in growth of my entire hair so it is not presentable and difficult for me to handle, However my hope came alive when I read peoples testimonies on internet how they can grow their hair. I have been using Rosemary and Cloves water but my hair keep on cutting and falling. It seems there is no progress but am not giving up, Mind you I have a coarse hair and hard. Please what do you advice me to do?

She's very lady like and some call her bougie but that's just her and you grow to love it which I do lol but I'm so glad you did this video because I was wondering if you did anything to get your hair so long. We have very similar hair texture and I've been researching how to get my hair longer. I only ever cut it once and that was back in 07' to just above my shoulders and it took 10 years to grow back to where it was which was about 3-4 inches pass my shoulders so I'm going to try this. I am a stylist so I know about all that but my hair I'm still learning about lol so sad I can help everyone else with their hair but mine is like a labyrinth I can't wrap my brain around why it doesn't grow. I think I just need to change my diet lol
Rice water is great for melasma too. I’m doing right now and tighten my skin and for my pigmentation. You don’t need to do much, all you do is rising you rice and blend in blender put it in clean bottle and in the refrigerator. Take out every morning and evening use as toners before serums and Moisturizer.
My curls were like yours and then a stylist put a relaxer in my hair 🥲 It’s been about two months and I can see my hair growing out but it’s still a little thin and short. Hopefully this helps! I’ll be back to let you know the results.

I use it and i'm satisfate. I don't eat farinaceous (neither bread nor pasta,pizza...biscuit)and my hair on the forehead are multiplied.The problem is gluten.
@@ayeshaashraf4156 sensitivity to gluten as a lot of people because in the 50s the industry has modified the amount of gluten in weath to make it more nutritious but it has caused imbalance in this food which has become harmful
Good info for low porosity people like myself. I think I'll just mix the rice water into my deep conditioner especially if I run out of protein conditioner that way I can mix it in with the moisturizing conditioner.
I'm researching on different kinds of ways to get my hair back, My daughter is 14 and she said to try rice water,I had long beautiful natural curly hair but from straightening dying my hair black, I think this is why 🤔 I have Bald spots it's so sad knowing I was known for beautiful hair. While i cook and i make rice …. I just wash my rice and as i wash it - i do NOT throw out the water put it to the side. And thats it! The starch will sit at the bottom and you can shake the container before using it. You can store it in the fridge to cut the fermenting process. Rice water is the best. It also detangles your hair. Its not so complicated.
