Using Scantailor to Process Images of Pages From a Book

This video shows the methods I use to process the 108MP images taken with a Redmi 10 Pro mobile phone of the 1842 volume of The Baptist Magazine (over 700 pages).

The following software packages are used:
* Adobe Photoshop (most graphic editors can perform this task)
* Scantailor - scantailor.org/
* Advanced Tiff Editor [www.tiffedit.com/]
* Adobe Acrobat - though other software can also produce pdfs.

Informative video. Can you tell me how do you deal with curved pages and also with speckles on the page? I have tried Dewarping for curved pages but it takes time and Despeckling for speckles isn't as effective.

Hi Abi, I rarely use the dewarping function. As you say, it is too fiddly except for the odd page. I use advanced Tiff Editor to deal with the speckling.
