Great video. Any idea why mec gar P226 mags do not work reliably with some G2-G2C pistols? Some folks say to use only Taurus magazines in Taurus pistols. Some blame the pistol, others blame the magazines. Great video.
Hi Yamil, been awhile! I use 18 round Sig mags in my Taurus PT111 G2, G2C and G3. On-line Amazon I think , a you-tuber "Bloody Wheel" makes remarkable very reasonably priced spacers for new Sig mags! Great presentation! Best to ya',,,,!
@@yrsued so the P228 mags also work in the G3? I know P228 mags from MecGar work with the PT111 G2 and G3C. The P228 + spacer from BloodyWheel is how I setup my G2 and G3C. Want to get a G3 if it can take the P228 mags too.

YES!!! So that you know, Mec-Gar makes out all SIG Magazines!! IF they are not Men-Gar, they are Check Mate!! IF they say made in Italy, they are Mec-Gar, if they say made in the USA, they are Check Mate!!
I have some p226 mags for a 40 to 9 conversion I was gonna do but didn't get the firearm so I was wondering if the mags fit any of my other guns n they seemed to fit in my g3 n slidelock worked. Took to the internet n found this!
Do the Pro mag p226 18 or 20 round magazines work good in the Taurus g3c? I know the Mec gar p226 magazines work but there so expensive compared to the pro mag Anybody??
Why not buy the best?? Men-Gar is good enough to be the OEM Magazine manufacturer for about 90% of all firearm manufacturers in the world!! Nothing against Pro Mag, they are local to me, all the ones I've tried worked, but I do prefer Mac-Gar!!
I have a G3 i just got a sig p226 32 roumd promag for it but for some reason it’ll only shoot 1 or 2 rounds then stop it doesn’t jam or anything it just wont shoot constantly anyone know what can be the reason for that ?
@@Thatistuff Most factory Mags out there are made by Mec-Gar, the worlds largest Magazine maker, you can't go wrong with Mec-Gar!! They make Mags for SIG and pretty much everyone else in the world!!
