Once you raised the suspension you were no longer stuck, also you never tried to reverse out. That being said, I have seen a Tacoma completely buried to the frame get unstuck from the sand using crawl control on the lowest speed. It enabled the tires to pack the sand underneath until the fram was no longer on the ground, then it came unstuck. You can do this yourself if you're skilled enough.

For what you did, I don't think you needed crawl control. In fact, I think you need to get the right wheel and tire combination for what you were doing.

To demonstrate better you should have tried to keep going forward after CC was on. Quite often when car gets stuck it does move back without any problem

You didn't let us see reverse stuck. We saw that was stuck going forward but not in reverse

My NP300 Navara has crawl control...To activate I just press the accelerator a little less instead of pushing 18000 different buttons

So basically, Just slowly reverse out of where you're stuck.

It’s a rookie feature. If you engaged 4 wheel low and feathered the throttle playing the steering, you could have achieved the same

I don't understand why do we have to turn of traction control... doesn't it actually help? How does this affect the airbags tho?
