Shiny encounters In raid are a guaranteed catch don't waste masterball for that. Instead use pinap berry to get more candy.

@@VinnytotheK Yes. If you have the master ball it is the only alternative ball you're allowed to use when catching shadow pokemon ◡̈ it shows up the same way as it would normally with the red line separating it from the regular balls to be more clear.

I don't think you'll have to use your master ball on a shiny Galar Bird, I'm guessing it's gonna either make them 100% catch rate, or it'll make sure they don't run if they're shiny. @mrrandom2351 The pokemon you catch could transform into either ditto or zoura although you wouldn't use the master ball on any ditto pokemon as they are all basic but a zoura hiding as your buddy pokemon you might especially if it's a rare mon and you didn't realise so you just waste the master ball. (And yes people have wasted master balls on Zoura)

A lol story: I used my daily incense and a galarian Zapdos spawned. I was new to the game so I didn’t know how rare it was. With no berry I threw a normal pokeball and caught it with a critical catch.

I have done a lot of primal groudon and groudon raids to get a hundo groudon but I didn't get any. So this go fest when primal groudon came again in raids I tried my luck. And I finally got a hundo but it wasn't willing to get caught and only the last ball was left. So I backed right there, completed my master ball research and finally caught the long awaited hundo with masterball. Totally worth it.

Shiny Pokemon from raids are 100% catch rate they won't pop out I'd suggest to use a pineapple shaped Berry because of that rather then a golden raz

I almost accidentally used my master ball. I ran out of red balls trying to catch a stubborn pokemon so I just decided to switch to ultra balls, but since I ran out of red balls all the balls moved to the left making the master ball where the ultr ball would be.

I had a 100% Shadow Mewtwo... I really really considered it. I did catch it with the raid ball. But I kind of actually regret not using it. Because even though I want to be smart and save it, but I really really wanted a Mewtwo in that ball.
