This video is about how we launch our RIB on Wanderlust, our Nordhavn 47.
Most larger Nordhavns use a hydraulic crane but some Nordhavns only have the mast and boom system (like we do). This is a guide for all those who are interested as to how simple the mast and boom system can be to operate.

nicely done, a bet you'll soon have that worked down to a 5 min launch. What winches are you using? ( look very neat)

I'm using 24VDC winches from Warrior (Ninja range). They are rated at 4500lbs each. Note that these are not 'hoists' as they have a clutch that can be disconnected. They were reasonably priced if I recall as they are more automotive than marine.
