Learn how to use the set squares.
Set squares are used instead of a drafting head to draw vertical lines and lines at the most commonly used angles of 30, 45 and 60 degrees.
They have the advantage of being faster than the drafting head to use, and it is difficult to draw the wrong angle by mistake. Most people prefer the set squares for certain exercises such as drawing isometric projections (we will learn what isometric projection is in the future).
Their disadvantage is that they cannot be used to draw any angle required, so if you need to draw a line at an angle of 20 degrees, then you need a drafting head or a protractor.
