thanks Mark, I'm learning everything thanks to you, fantastic! allow me the joke: if I had had teachers like you, I would now have 5 degrees ;)

This really helps clear up the confusion I had about the different kinds of errors the validator detects.

What a fantastic video. Answered precisely the issue I've had with overlaps and intersections. THANK YOU!

One way I have found to handle fancy fonts is to print them. Then scan them as a .bmp. it's not a cure all, but how do you want to spend your time.

Mark this helped me out more than you know! My go to for many years was and still is Adobe Illustrator but now that I’m learning vCarve, I’m seeing all the issues that can occur from importing vectors from Illustrator into VC. As soon as I get used to learning new keyboard commands it will go a lot smoother. We call the same actions different things which is a little confusing but I’m figuring it out. The VV is a great tool as I’m learning about stacked vector points, intersections, etc. Thanks for sharing!

Another very helpful, well explained lesson! I need to go back and rewatch the two previous videos on script text, because I'm getting more and more requests for projects with script.

But in production i have very less time need to fix in very less time. Individually correcting errors takes too much time. Thanks for your video.

Hi Mark could you do a video showing how to array 1.5" x 3.5" rectangles 8" apart on the outside of a 66" diameter circle? Thanks for all the great videos

Hi Mark can you please explain why the intersections would make the program think it has to cut through the entire material. Was the material thickness set pretty thin to begin with. As always thank you for videos.

In the example text in this video, the intersections in the capital letters S and I made the V-Carve toolpath think I wanted to carve out the inside of the large inside loops, rather than carve in between the inside and outside vectors. Since the inside and outside vectors intersected one another, there was no space between them to carve. The software moved on to the next closed vectors, which were those loops. The material thickness was .75 inches, but that wasn't a factor. In order for the bit to v-carve that large of an area (with no flat depth selected,) it would cut all the way through the material.
