The three legged 'T-nuts' are weaker than the steel drive in T-nuts if subject to racking forces. I've had a bunch crack and break away when used to hold legs with hanger bolts - they are made of an aluminium or zinc alloy, not steel or brass.. I found that the steel T-nuts hold better - just clean off any oil, maybe roughen with some sandpaper then epoxy them into a shallow recess & hole (say, like the one you made for the alloy T-nuts that broke). Try to make the recess for the flange a little deeper than the thickness of the flange - like a couple of sheets of paper deeper - it gives room for any epoxy smears and makes for a bigger bearing surface for what you will screw on.
