Great video. It helped much more than the manual, which was quite frankly, terrible! I will probably only use mine once a month or so, so i feel i should decompress the tank when not in use. In the storage section it says to decompress using the relief valve but there no diagram of parts so I have no idea which is the relief valve. If you could help that would be appreciated.

Hi Barry, really sorry to hear that the manual has been a cause of confusion - we are looking to add more separate and thorough instructions to make this clear in future. The relief or release valve is located on the underside of these machines. You can twist it to release the air from the tank which is essential in preventing condensation within the unit.
@Jack_O_AllTrades
@Jack_O_AllTrades Год назад
@@HPPUK thanks for that. I knew there was a valve underneath for draining off the condensation but it wasn't clear what this valve was called or that it was for draining the compressed air too. Thanks for the clarification.

Hi there, I recently bought a new Hyundai 24L air compressor similar to the one shown in your video (I purchased the 55762). I'm a total newbie when it comes to air compressors, so a few of your videos were extremely helpful to get me started, thanks a lot for your excellent guidance! 🙂 I've got one question I hope you can assist with. I won't be using my compressor that often, just occasionally and when I'll be using it, it will be for a few minutes only. So if I use it for example 3 or 4 times a day for 5 mins (so 15-20 mins in total on a daily basis), can I leave the air in the (full) tank, even if I won't be using it for several days? Is there any risk/danger to leave a full air tank just standing there for some days (unused) or is it advisable to drain/re-fill it each time/day I'm using it? Obviously I'll turn off the power, but I'm not sure about the constant pressure on the 24L tank. Just asking as a newbie, because I prefer not to re-fill/drain the tank several times a day/each few days, just like to be sure there's no risk/danger in leaving the air tank filled for a while...

How do you drain air from the tank after you're done using it?
@HPPUK
@HPPUK 9 месяцев назад
Underneath the tank, there is a decompression valve, turn it until you can hear air escape - remember to tighten again afterwards!

Im new to air compressors, so apologies for the uneducated question. But is there a way to stop/or adjust the automatic refill when it the air gets lower? If not, will a bigger tank mean I can use more air before automatic refill is turned on? Thank you
@HPPUK
@HPPUK 11 месяцев назад
Generally there isn't a way to limit the refill, however - if you wanted to stop the automatic re-fill you can just shut the machine off and the air within the unit will remain compressed for quite some time. You can use this until empty without the automatic refill kicking in this way.

Hi I bought mine to use it on dental manikin and I am afraid of using it to be honest! Could you please help me: 1- can I use in my bedroom? Is it safe? 2- can I use it on a carpet? Or I need to out something underneath? 3- when I want to stop using it, shall I switch off the main after pushing down the red buttom? Or I can keep the main switch on all the time? 4- when I first used it I felt that there is a bit of air leak from the tube - tried to fix the tube and push it inside but then it came out and all the air came out with noise. What to do if I hear a leak? 5- when I touch some parts (screw parts), theu are very sticky as there is glue or oil there. Is it normal? 6- is there any water that comes out from the compressor?
@HPPUK
@HPPUK 10 месяцев назад
You can adjust the output pressure however you'd like as shown by the valve in the video: 1. Yes, you can use an air compressor in a room - they are safe. 2. Do you mean blowing air onto the carpet? Regardless, it won't tear holes in your carpet or anything like that. 3. Best practice is to shut down the red button and remove from the mains, then decompress using the valve shown 4. Ensure it is securely fastened into the air compressor, and check your pipe for any nicks or compromises, if your air compressor is within warranty, call our aftersales team and they will be more than happy to help 5. This shouldn't be the case? It is an oil-free unit - try wiping down the parts with a kitchen roll and all purpose cleaner , does this help? 6. You should drain the air after each use , using the valve underneath the air compressor - this prevents water

Hi, I have got questions. Do you recommend if I should use 24L or 50L hyundai air compressor to respray on car using LVHP spray gun? Does it work well for you if you have used 24L or 50L to respray on your car? I'd love to know!
@Rob-Benny-Hill
@Rob-Benny-Hill Год назад
I recommend you use 50L to elongate spray capacity and enable a constant pressure and spray.

Hi. I am searching for a air compressor for a tool that requires 250 L/Min. My question is - does 300L/Min is input or output air flow rate?
@HPPUK
@HPPUK 8 месяцев назад
The L/Min refers to the flow rate (output) of the machine.
@andristucs6044
@andristucs6044 8 месяцев назад
@@HPPUKThis confuses me. I called my local Hyundai distributor and they told me that the indicated flow rate is at the intake side. Can you provide a link to a spec that indicates both input and output l/min for Hyundai compressors? I am thinking of getting a HYC1500-50S

Hi, Ours is just a week old, and we're getting used to using it. But there's an issue I think, adjustment of the psi down doesn't seem to work as in the video - I use an air gun to allow pressure to drop having pulled the adjustment knob up, turn the knob as directed, but both regulators drop and after a little time the motor kicks back in. The psi isn't reducing. However, if I empty the tank and adjust psi as it increases, I can stop it on the required psi (I just did this to achieve 30psi). Is something wrong with our regulator? Also, ours is taking about 2'50" to fill from empty; in the videos I've seen on line, it takes about 2'20". Any suggestions to possible cause? Thanks.
