I follow your channel pretty thoroughly so please correct me if this has been addressed before, but I have a problem of falling into the rhythm of mechanically turning over my Anki cards before I've properly answered it in my head. And that "spacebar hitting reflex" is compromising my active recall yet I can't break the habit because I'm so used to Anki.
@@dimitris7368 Someone sounds a little bit salty. The dude has absolutely earned the right to talk about himself and his achievements. Can't imagine the amount of hardwork, discipline and dedication it took. I really look up to him.
First year medical student in Cape Town, South Africa doing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). Although I did not apply for an MD degree, your strategies and tips still assisted me with the MBChB undergraduate application. Thank You very much.
“...I used the tried and true UFAP protocol... not to be confused with no fap...” I am screaming 🤣🤣💀💀 You are the epitome of focus and productivity with undertones of comical genius good sir! Thanks for all you do!
I swear to God the excitement I feel once I see the notification for another one of your videos is unparalleled to anything else right now. Hahahahah! Thank you so much for your quality content and helpful advice. You never disappoint us Dr. Jubbal. This was definitely a sweet study break. 😊🙏
Hey Dr. Gamaliel! First off, congrats on crushing STEP 1! I have a question. Were the questions on the actual test similar to the UWORLD questions? Let me know please! Thanks 🙏🏽 🙂
Dr. Jubbal what do you think of the Osmosis ressource? I would like your input regarding how useful it is, is the price worth it, etc.? Also, did you pay for all these extra tools (UWorld and others) out of your own pocket or do med schools give accounts to their students? Thanks again for all that quality context and have a great day!
Hey Kevin, how did you modify the aging time on your Anki decks? I’m currently trying out Anki but even after a few rotations it seems like cards aren’t being reviewed for weeks, and when midterms are only a few days away...
Hey Kevin, loving your channel, your doing a great job and helping me in ways you don't know.As people are commenting on your video its an evidence that your decision was from your heart.Love from Pakistan ❤
I love your content and things you do! I was wondering if you every thought about doing a video like this for MCAT to help us premeds out here? Thank you!!
Hey I have a question about the match process, Let’s say you only apply to specialty programs in orthopedic surgery and cardiology for example, if you don’t match into any of the programs would you have a chance to apply again the next year? Or would you have to apply for something less competitive like family med or IM? Thanks!
cardio is fellowship and not a residency and you should apply to all the residencies in the world. Drop that cash fam. Its the rest of your life. You might apply to 50 places and get 10 interviews and match into one. Drop that money!!!!
Kevin Jubbal, M.D. I entered my email but I didn’t receive any mail I previously entered my email but received a non functioning data 😔😔 Do I have to sign up for tutoring to get it ?
Don’t lose hope! Examine what isn’t working and review your answers to see why you’re getting questions wrong. I’ll create a test taking strategy video on MSI channel in the future. If you need further help don’t be afraid to try tutoring
Can we get a video dedicated to the class of 2024 and beyond that has the P/F step 1 and want to still crush Step2CK , while aiming for AOA and not skipping actual class??
Thank you! So useful for Step preparation. In terms of anki, did you use a premade deck from September e.g. Zanki or make your own? Would love to hear your thoughts on premade decks for step
I have a BIG question... Is pre med necessary before getting into med school? I mean, is pre med preparation of MCAT or is it a academic requirement which is required to be fulfilled before med school?
Kevin Jubbal, M.D. how do some students manage to get 10-15 publications within medical school? I’m assuming you also had a great amount of research, Wouldn’t even a few be hard?
