Good video. Love the segment and it’s my way to keep up to date on USMNT transfer news. Loyal Aaronson fan and nervous about Leeds, Take 2. McKennie being coached by Emery and having good playing time is the reason for my cautious optimism… pessimism is he’s looking a little heavy again and didn’t do much in those Friendlies. Can’t wait to see final outcome for Tessman… lots of good options.

If McKennie can get minutes as a champions league or league cup player that would be great experience. Knockout tournament Emery would be great skills for 2026

That’s a good point that we missed, Emery is a tournament specialist and we need a team that can thrive in that setting. Haji and to a certain extent Pulisic and Jedi have proven that they can, now we need the rest of the squad to do the same.

I will weep if Brian Gutierrez switches to LTri. He has the potential of a Gio he’s by far the greatest thing Chicago have going for them and he’s so good at creating chances. Why does US push away skilled,creative players like this? Fire won last two games playing thru Guti

It’s unfortunate but the reality is that choosing Mexico is better for these players and their careers, they have the talent and potential to become starters for El Tri while they can’t even make the USA Olympic team. Could some of them, particularly Gutiérrez, be a loss in the long run, maybe. But I can’t blame them for picking the nation that is best for them, and the sad reality is that we’re going to see a lot of Mexican-American dual nationals do this over the coming years.

They’ve actually had really good results up until this most recent camp, but it is a concern. There’s an argument for some of the 🇲🇽🇺🇸 players to be included but Gutiérrez’s stock was really hurt when the Fire didn’t release him for the first couple camps (plus his slow start to the season), JoGo had a similar release problem at Mirandés plus strong competition for the LB spot, and Obed is just too young and not at the level yet. Luna on the other hand absolutely should’ve been in the most recent camp, we really could’ve used his creativity off the bench.

The issue for Villa fans is that Mckenie is a downgrade compared to Luiz.

Wish Mckennie had stayed at Juve. Aston Villa fans already hate him and he hasn't even touched the field yet. Hopefully he's given time to prove himself.

Long time fan here, I don’t usually comment but there are a few key things you guys need to make it all better. Yuri, you need to bring out more of your personality, during the lives you are more lively and at times on videos you bring good humor but it seems like you always hold back, but overall solid work. Braden I love your analysis but in order to be a great pundit/panel you need to be more objective, you drift away from the main topic and sometimes they are too long, and make it a bit boring, like you’re going in circles. I know you guys will be one of the biggest channels, just look to improve and cut your content to the shape that it can actually grow, direct, objective, and maybe have a weekly video/Spotify podcast that you talk freely. The most frustrating thing about this video is that 7 minutes in and I wanna look up these news myself instead of hearing you guys. Don’t take it the wrong way but take this as an advice from an avid watcher. Shorter, more lively, more discussion instead of long takes. You’ll get better and I’ll be here for it. Greetings from Seattle. Ps: Obed has stagnated.

Could be a little tighter in transitions, but I generally like the depth and your full take. The headlines, sure, we could find elsewhere, but your analysis is good and adds a lot.

Ream is not that relevant anymore, Brenden will flop at the championship sadly, McKennie will probably do alright at Villa, Paxten Aaronson and Tessmann winning the transfer window so far, guaranteeing themselves a big parent club that likes them with a solid loan move. Love your takes Braden but make this a little shorter and don’t drift from the your takes and you will be TV material.

Good concept but if you are doing news this has to be shorter, love the takes but you go too in depth and it sounds a bit repetitive as well. Maybe have just one of you guys do this type of video

Seems like you dont grade mexican American players all that much just like the federation. Is it because they are more free flowing and dont like to play the stagnant way the national team tends to play. How long did mexico dominate the usa decades with liga mx players. 🤔 a long time. Even now with the right coach mexico can compete and punch about their weight because they will play for the crest. Thats something the usa has never understood. And this is coming from a usa supporter.

I don’t think there’s any debate that this is Mexico’s worst generation and the USA’s best, which is why we have been dominating them for the last 5 years. Because of this, more opportunities open up for Mexican-Americans with El Tri. It’s not that we don’t rate some of the players highly, it’s just that we don’t think they have USMNT potential due to the rapidly expanding player pool. We don’t see them as a huge loss to our program, more so a huge gain for Mexico’s.

Mexico did dominate the U.S for decades but that was before the nineties. From 2000 to the present the record is 19-8-9 in favor of the USA. You're not the first El Tri fan to claim that Mexico has dominated for decades as of late.

@jorgegaona8103 dominated the usa with only mx league players. Plus having iconic players represent them. How many do the usa have. . Mexico with better coaching mops the floor with the usa. They have what we call colmillo the usa doesn't and probably never will with this coach and federation

@AMERICANULTRASTALK what is a great generation if you don't achieve anything I don't consider the gold cup or the nations cup important. We play in the weakest confederation. And yet we can still find ways to miss world cups. All the talent in the world means nothing I'd you don't have capable people in the highest levels which we don't the federation and the coaching. Letting the Mexican American players walk will hurt the usa one day. What happened to all the German Americans gone. Wait till we try to recruit another one of those.
