USPS launches campaign to prevent dog attacks on mail carriers 

Ban dogs! Especially, those high-capacity assault dogs!

WHY do the owners leave their dog out when they know the mail is coming???

DEFINITELY NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK

Give mail carriers the right to defend themselves by whatever means necessary. If dog owners can't control their pet, let the mail carriers do the job for them. Same with human children.

My granduncle used to be a post man. He used to know very well to kick even a German Shepard charging on him.

Mail deliverers should not wear shorts. They need to wear pants and possibly protective padding gear underneath. I also believe they should be armed tasers, BB guns, or a guns.

I have a german shepherd and a husky, and I dont understand people who put their dogs in their front yard when they have a fenced backyard. Even going on walks and their dogs in the front yard losing their minds biting each other, angry, barking, why put them in the front yard?

Show some consideration and put your dogs inside when the mail man comes walking bye

They should make them go to the post office to pick up that should be a rule for now on

They should be allowed to carry police batons. A good wack to the head will keep a dog back if you hit it hard enough

Why do they have to give your dogs treats or anything at all? Control your home defenses. Take accountability instead of blaming any workers for your inability to provide safety to people who are providing you a needed service.

Pair up dogs from the dog shelter to walk with the mailman....lol. When a Pitbull is walking with the mailman, no dogs will come close to the mailbox.....lol.

My dog is on my porch behind Iron gate, the mailbox outside of gate within arm's reach from my porch, my dog barks at the understanding mail man every day its there, if a substitute mail man comes and I'm there I apologize and reach out at arms distance and receive the mail handed to me, if one comes and is SENSITIVE or ON THE SPECTRUM and wants to claim my dog is attacking them they can go pound sand, as a former delivery person I know if a dog is loose it has to be secured before I approached. This business has been run like this for hundreds of years I believe, dont start your social media sympathy campaign now with this crap.
