To be honest this feels like the end of a two part story. Funny how forty odd seconds can spark inspiration. The Doctor finds Voyager by accident flying through the territory of some unknown species, ending up on the ship to help resolve a bigger issue that's affecting the crew of both. At some point, the territory holders are seen coming to intercept them. When hailed, they tell Voyager that they are harbouring a war criminal and are to surrender that person to them. When cut off without an explanation as to who it is, The Doctor rambles on about the species and what happened to them during the time war to Janeway, explaining that they still need to resolve the initial problem both of them have, but can't be on the ship while in this territory, and due to the vast nature if said territory, elects to leave Voyager and rendezvous later on, allowing the problem to manifest further and be resolved in the second part. Departing in such a manor as seen above to make it obvious to their pursuers, that the person they are after is no longer on board.
Janeway: Well then, i believe this is goodbye..? Doctor: Not to say it hasnt been a pleasure. Janeway: Safe Journeys. Doctor: Now wheres the fun in that? Janeway smiles and The Doctor just taps his nose and swaggers into his blue box. Janeway to Tuvok in the mess hall. Janeway: Did he ever answer your question? Tuvok: Indeed he did. But.. it only raises more questions. Janeway:Like how was in bigger on the inside? Tuvok ponders a moment "Simple matter of spatial-" Janeway just smiles and pats Tuvok on the back
@@sprites4ever482 I tried reading some of it.. it really was not written - or drawn - well at all. Shame too, cause I was writing a version with Tennant solo on the D Enterprise then he became Matt Smith.
1: earth itself had to be tethar itself to the tardis (the Tardis was really the Ring while Earth put Hooks around said ring, if you know what my mean) 2: the Doctor needs a full crew in the tardis who knows some of the basic controls and clear instructions how to use said controls... yes Star Trek i would believe is very adaptive compared to 2005 humans back then, but to point out in... 3: the Doctor isn't that known for breaking Fixed points in time, so he would say he follows his own version of the Temporal Prime Directive which he made up as he went, so even IF the doctor would have gladly bring Voyager back to its space, he would A: point out how he just can't because this is a fixed timline... and B: say they would miss out on the other adventures they would have in the Delta Quadrent, something even he doesn't want to break even if it saves more lives on Janeways ship
Sometimes... Even the doctor needs a little assistance from the Federation... That or he could just be stopping off to refuel the TARDIS or something...
Fair enough, I've always enjoyed this one though, the effect of the TARDIS moving through the camera is very nice, and the shot after with Voyager at warp feels very faithful to the show, but with a more modern feel, something I feel like Discovery could have done with.
Aside from a few streaks twinkling a little, and a lack of glow on the nacelles, I was pretty happy with the warp scene too. Unfortunately STD doesn't give a damn about continuity.
I can't buy TARDIS type 40 Green screen, I Have a paypal but site tells me "Please provide a valid email address" raaaaahh!!! Coud someone help me with it?
