USSR 1990 New Year's Message Prt. 2 of 2 

I was born in soviet union (1984) and I remember crying every time I hear the anthem :")

its the 100 anniversary of the October revolution 1917-2017

104 years and this anthem still is amazing...

It is saddening, knowing that this was the LAST USSR New Year....

Little did they know, all that they had worked for would be ripped apart by Yeltsin.

This is 1989 - 1990, not 1990 - 1991. I couldn't find Gorbachov's message for the new 1991 year, it's probably either lost or never has been made.

They said that there were lots of corruption in Soviet but forgot that there even were lots of homeless and unemployed people in the US that year as well as right now!

Little did they know that it would be there last time time on New Years that there Anthem would play :(
