I know that for some CCs its basically a job but I honestly believe that the only way of saving this game is by you guys banding together and being honest with WG. How the fuck is it fair to represent the community if you're being told you can't call bullshit when you see it? This is why the SirFoch incident was so disgusting, because they tried to censor his opinions on WoT by shutting him down. If a load of top CCs start being honest and telling them their game is becoming a particularly unfunny joke then what are they gonna do, shut you all down? Can you imagine how bad the backlash would be for them!? But I suppose the sad truth is that WoWS is going exactly the same way as WoT, just a few years behind. Its getting worse and worse and the community are starting to understand how the game is just a money printing machine but it won't ever die because there is no competition at all. So WG will keep pshing it and pushing it because there is nothing to keep them in check. The playerbase has no say at all in what happens, the only people who could potentially make a difference are the CCs.

Recently battles in wows become more boring and fast. Sometimes round can end in a 5-6 min. Its all because this kind of ships. This ships are broken, and when they end up in a game, game become broken.

I t10’ed all the ships I want to for long while now, recently coal’ed a thunderer, and emptied various coins for gold. And then I’m gonna leave this game. They'll prolly give it Radar, Smoke, Figher Aircraft, Def AA, Spotter Aircraft, German Super Hydro, buff the weak heals into Coq Superheals, swap those weak guns with Yashima 510mm (while keeping the amount of guns, turret traverse, reload, ballistics and Improved pen angles), maybe even strap a Graff Zepp on each side (aircraft + secondaries + AA). Only then they will say: "Hey, this ship a bit better than avarage."

Just compare it to the Donskoi, tier 9. It will tell something

No BB in the game can overmatch it on a fucking Tier 8 cruiser with 9.9km stealth, 18.5km range and 4 heals. Already thought this shit was ridiculous on Moskva/Stalingrad, but atleast both get spotted from the moon oh and they happen to be tier X not tier VIII.

Might as well add Musashi, Missouri, and Kronstadt ( one of the few Soviet ships I actually wanted) back as well. It was BS to remove them anyway for those who wanted them. Gajin is guilty of the same thing in War Thunder with removing the Maus, Panther II, and Tiger II 105mm.

@@pineapplekun8769 You must remember that, at the time the Kronstadt was basically the only easily available Super Cruiser (the Stalingrad is steel only), now it easily gets outshone by the Alaska in pretty much every regard since it has very wonky BB style dispersion on its guns and it doesn't get the stupidly good AP angles. So yeah it's not a BAD ship but it's also one of the few examples of not being a good ship, it got pulled because it was stupidly popular. The Musashi meanwhile is kind of ridiculous if it's top tier, I say this as someone who owns one.

Shaw Fujikawa Killed many planes doesn’t means it has good AA but at least decent. I said that because plane kills come from many situations. You many be close to good AA ally ships and you happen to get plane kills even though you did less damage than ally ships. CV might focus on you hance you get more plane kills, I once almost get to 100 plane kills in Massa (It aslo has good AA) because I was the last one on my team and I was chasing 2 T8 CVs which they have tons to throw at me. And yes, I just dodged.

Like good luck torping anyone in Khaba, or winning a gun dual in a Mosva against a Des Moines. Mikhail Kutuzov was blatently OP, but so was Belfast, so it was more like OP premiums. Then the glorious Soviet navy paper-mache battleships were released and everything that never existed (so basically the whole line apart from the 7 first generation dreadnoughts they actually managed to build during WW1 but were obsolete by the time they were launched) was the best at it's tier. At that point I would argue that the soviet-bias started.

Actually none of WG's effort will bring back Russian players, that train left a long time ago. I happen to have a lot of Russian friends who used to play wows. It was never the lack of Russian ships. It was the lack of new gamemodes and the pay to win aspect that turns them off. It's a lose lose move for WG.

WG has decided to limit how much the balance testers are allowed to say, before the ship is released. Their reasoning is that ships get too much attention during the testing/balancing phase, and not enough when they are actually released. To be honost, I can understand WGs point of view of this. If you do a youtube search on many ships in WOWS, then many videos on them, are from when the ship was still in the testing phase, and many of them are therefore misleading. I really hope WG listens to Flamu on this one, but videos like this just angers people. Many forget that the ships is still in testing. This is where they can try things out. The ships are still being tested and balanced before being released to the rest of us. There is no need to get upset that a testing ship is overpowered. This is only a matter between the testers and WG. It only become an issue, IF WG release the ship while it is still unbalanced. No need to get upset before the release. If WG ignore the feedback from their balance testers, and release a broken ship, then it is time to rage. Not before. That is why I dont mind WG stopping the CCs and other play testers from reviewing ships still in the testing phase, and thus very likely to change. Let us get some good reviews and hype when the ships are released instead.

I would like to bookend your comment by adding a minor edit to you, First it was Kutuzov, *then Khabarovsk, then Grozevoi, then Kronstadt, then Stalingrad*, then Smolensk, then Kremlin, then A. Nevsky and Petropavlovsk and now this. That's how many times the Russian ships climbed to the very top of the food chain. Many of those only became bearable as time went on and nerfs and power creep combined slowly got them to a good place. Khaba for instance was broken as hell for a year, it took torpedo nerfs, concealment nerfs, consumables nerfs, the stealth fire nerf etc. to fix it. Grozevoi was an insane plane-hunter, stealth killing planes for a full 5Km before they realised what was happening and the CV player would flee, the AA nerf it copped totally liquidated that ability. Kutuzov got creeped on hard, because when it existed in its initial form, radars were almost non-existent, long range hydros were non-existent, there was no smoke fire penalty, so you would close on one and it could just shell you with fire spam until you hit the magical 1km auto-spot range. As for the rest, Smolensk, Kronstadt and Stalingrad are premiums and untouchable. As their gimmicks don't rely on game mechanics such as spotting range and overmatching, and instead on raw accuracy, rate of fire, shell velocity and firepower, I can't see any way for them to really be nerfed going forward. This means they are very unlikely to actually get balanced, hence removal from the shop! Lastly, let's compare to the other original nations for their most OP ships? Japan really just has the Kamikaze and its variants. Their gunboat line, namely Kitakaze and Harugumo are pretty strong, but again, their large size, combined with smoke fire penalties, combined with the masses of radar and hydro? They're not that crazy like on release. USA has the Somers, Flint, possibly the Georgia? Georiga does have everything you want in a Battleship, armour, speed, firepower, secondaries, AA, but doesn't feel absurd. The Worchester was broken on release, but that was the stealth radar, leading to them ambushing DD's, and is long since resolved. Des Moines/Salem are both fun, but fragile and their shell arcs mean good luck killing ships at 14km+. Germany? lol no. UK, well, the Belfast. On release their Battleships in tier 9 and 10 were strong, because of unnecessary high fire-chance (which is actually no more than many other nations, just with far superior HE damage). Problem is they traded speed, health pool, armour, and had the accuracy of a tier 5 battleship. People pissed and moaned about it, so they nerfed their one good aspect, the heal, so that when you were under withering enemy fire, you just died. Can't fight at distance due to accuracy, can't fight in close due to fragility. As for their cruisers? No HE as HE and smoke is OP, according to wargaming, who removed the option 3 days before release. So yeah, this is where the opinion that there is blatant Wargaming bias for the Russians comes from.

I realised the game was busted a year ago. I've stopped playing completely. You should do the same. Not just stop paying money but stop playing. So there is no player population to play against for the people who are still paying WG.

Aren't the AP rockets meant for the German carriers? If so, then they will probably be AP in name only and have actually less penetration than the HE rockets of other nations and won't be able to cause fires. At least when one looks at how German ships are treated in the game.

The answer is obvious. Leave the game and take your money elsewhere. Hopefully someone else will see the demand and create an alternative naval aracde game to wows. Petitions will do nothing as WG will simply ignore it. There is no dealing with those type of people. It's hitting a brick wall.

I still play this game, but stopped spending money after the announcement of the cv rework. This game has so many issues and giving them money would mean I supported them even though I dislike most of their ideas like the research bureau, PR disaster, cv rework and some other annoying stuff like 175k coal for captains and focus on new lines instead of fixing the whole game.

So just in that context, ship is already too easy to play, brain dead easy, i mean, just look at NC with its dreadful shell travel speed, how differently it plays from majority of other BBs, you have to take completely diff approach to even hit smth at range, get skilled to Predict cruiser turning/movement. NO NEED for that, when you play rusky. It would be fine if the ship had guns that were absolute best in tier, but it wouldve had to have weaknesses in other parts, REAL weaknesses, just like a Minotaur is the the Actual squishiest t10 cruiser, not that abomination smolyansk. 50% of releases know no definition of balance at all, mostly french or russian. It would be unfair to point out only russian ships.

I love both games but they are chalk and cheese. Ultimate Admiral is far more a strategy game than this one. It is a graphically advanced Rule The Waves. Designing the ship is key and when the campaign comes it will be about balancing research, cost and numbers based on the strategic requirements your nation faces. Presuming it will start around 1890 Britain will need numerous ships because of her colonies, Germany for example could look to fewer more powerful ships as her world reach was far more limited. The limited ship control - direction and target selection primarily - suits me though as I do have trouble shooting straight!
