I keep listening over and over again to the woman singing so beautifully. I've never heard anything quite like it before, though the freedom in the melody echoes Usted Bade Ghulam Ali Kahn, whom I love above all singers.

Interesting, the last line of the Adana bandish is "Jaise Teer Ka Maar a Maar" but ustadji has sung the same bandish with the last line as "Jaise Arjunji Ke Baan" in part 2 of his basant bahar concert, also available on youtube. No, that Fateh Ali Khan is different. He was a qawaal from qawaal bachche gharana Delhi which traces its lineage from Ustad Amir Khusrau. This is Fateh Ali Khan of Patiala Gharana, however, the Fateh Ali Khan that is being praised in this bandish is different & considered to be the founder of Patiala Gharana. He and is brother were called Alia Fatu a.k.a Jarnail Karnail, out of which Fateh Ali Khan was called Taan Kaptan.
