Eblees is the most influential jinn amongst them, of course some jinns will follow him. But we know that not every jinn follows him. The same thing could be said about humans, how some can't believe in god while there is so much evidence and we are supposed to be the more intelligent ones.

***** My point about slavery is that because, we all agree, it was wrong and bad and an evil in society, as was idol worship, then why did Mohamemd SAW not stop it outright? If something is wrong, like slavery, then it should be banned immediately, as was idol worship, why didn't Mohammed, knowing it was wrong, ban/abolish this practise immediately? I find this very troubling, that he kept and had sexual relations with his slaves. It is not right. We are seeing child marriage happen today in some countries, and the excuse is that Mohammed SAW did the same, this is hard for me to accept. It is against what I believe is right because, I think any man 50 years of age should not have sexual relations with a nine year old child... I am having a hard time defending this . Please explain this for Allah's sake. Thanks

Shamsheer G in islam slavery is allowed, but we are encouraged to free them, if we dont decide to free them, then we are instructed to treat them fairly like any other human being, just like im a slave to Allah, He has permitted us to have slaves and the slaves can have slaves, this was brought about when slavery was prevalent as well, which is included in the bible and torah

Shamsheer G as or the child marriages happening today, i would say that its more of a cultural thing, although in Islam you can marry a young girl but you cant consummate til she is of age. The angel Jibrail came to the prophet SAW in a dream with Aisha RA as a baby wrapped in silk and told him this will be your wife. May Allah forgive me if I Interpreted it wrong. This was included in all three major religions...
