Today’s segment of USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition features Davao City’s “Bakuna by the Sea” vaccination site.
“Bakuna by the Sea” is a public-private partnership initiative of the local government of Davao City, Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao and various tourism-related organizations.
The resort-themed vaccination site targets the inoculation of tourism allied services frontliners, including media practitioners.
Derived from the Bisayan term ‘uswag’ which means progress, this special edition of the social media program aims to inform viewers about the ongoing vaccination in different communities across the nation, the tireless efforts of healthcare workers and medical frontliners in battling the virus, and interviews from inoculated Filipinos and medical experts on the benefits of getting the jab to further boost vaccine confidence amongst the people.
USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition is a flagship program of the Presidential Broadcast Staff - Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM).
