Red Flag Fire Warnings issued for much of Utah as fires ignite
\WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah - (07/01/24) - The National Weather service has issued Red Flag Warnings for much of Western Utah. This means warm temperatures combined with very low humidity and stronger winds are expected to increase the risk of fires.
Fire danger is considered very high as the 2024 fire season begins.
Fire crews worked diligently on Sunday to put out a fire that consumed part of a home and a shed in Central, Utah in Washington County.
