Everyone here really mad jsut because they dont want to be charged for being horrible drivers, drive better, its not that hard, you can potentially cause hundreds of deaths and dollars worth of damages for the stuff they are talking about in this video, everyone getitng mad at is being selfish and thinking without their brain, this id a great thing utsh is doing yet thes ehorrible drivers are acting like all their rights are being taken away, JUST DRIVE BETTER AND STOP PUTTING PEOPLE IN HARMS WAY DUE TO YOUR IMMATURE ANGER CAPACITY
tf are you on about? The state makes money off of legal cannabis and and by taxing dispensaries. You think the state made money by letting people buy it off the street?! lmao They make far more by taxing it than by penalizing it.
Utah's new road rage laws are infringing on constitutionally protected rights, and blankets things for BS charges. Some of the things it lists are... 1: Yelling at other drivers, cyclists, or pedestrians. 2: Rude gestures. 3: Following too close. 4: Speeding. 5: Honking unnecessarily. 6: Not using turn signals. Those are just a few of the things that could cost people upwards of $2000 in fines, impound fees, and towing bills. This is an invitation for retaliatory charges, and basically a money grab. This s h i t needs shut down before it spreads.
Rude gestures considered road rage? So, if I'm in Utah, and I'm scratching underneath my chin, and someone thinks that I'm telling them they're a scumbag, it's now road rage? Thank goodness I don't live in Utah. More like Ut-Hell Nah.
Yeah I'm sure you'll get a ticket for scratching your chin because cops are robots and not humans who understand context and nuance. They even said in the video such gestures are only penalized when tacked onto another moving violation. So if you cut someone off while flipping them the finger then that would fall under road rage and your ticket for cutting them off gets upgrade 1 degree. This is literally what they said in the video. "More like Ut-Hell Nah." We've reached peak boomer humor, folks.
This law, or parts of it at the minimum, is absurdly unconstitutional - as ruled by the highest courts in these United States (Utah, remember you are one of them). "The Supreme Court has long recognized that protected speech may include symbolic and expressive conduct - like flipping the bird - when the speaker intends to convey a message or idea." - Professor Rachel Harmon, University of Virginia School of Law and faculty director of its Center for Criminal Justice Making a 'rude gesture', or 'yelling' at another driver while inside the confines of my personal vehicle, are protected acts of speech in all 50 states. My message to the bad driver is to get fucked, and I am conveying that message to them. Utahians (wtf are y'all called?) stand up against this injustice with your local and state representatives!
Hey, CEC, what do you mean, in your description, by "St. George LDS Church demolition begins a year after old stake center is raised" even though the very old one was actually _torn down;_ not raised?
Yeah, this is sad, but I guess the new NEW building is the same as the old _new_ one. Right? Wow, did the insurance cover it or did the church just make an accidental donation to construction companies and materials suppliers in the value of a building this size?
coming from a digital artist who’s been making logos for my school and as someone who lives in Utah, that old flag was absolutely terrible. i’d say everything bad about it but Huggbees did a great job with that already. the new flag is not only beautiful but sleek and rememberable. it definitely stands out in front of other state flags, and doesn’t have all that stupid liberal mush
They made a good decision to change it to the new flag, the old one was literally just the seal on a blue background and I'm glad other states are doing the same to make their flags look good, we need this as the seal on a bedsheet is obviously already problematic and I hope they do what other states like Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, etc do where they wanna be original and bother making the flag look decent
When my family first moved here 44 years ago we had fresh wonderful water, direct from our faucet to drink. Let's fast forward to 20 + yrs ago and our water has gotten so bad that our family can't drink it without it being filtered and if my mother drinks from the faucet she would get sick. This is all because of our growth and changing were our water source now comes from. There is enormous growth here and not all of it good.
