Cool stuff! I think you should go try it, but you should also be aware that you won't reach this skill level without insane amount of experience, guts and practice. However, you don't need to be super-skilled to have very much fun on skis. I recomend you get instruction the first time you go. Either from a professional instructor such as myself, or from a friend who knows how to teach you.
