How did it go? Did you experience any pain during the procedure? What about after, how severe were the cramps?

It went very well. It was uncomfortable, however the nurses and medical staff made sure I was comfortable. My cycle started right after my procedure. I stayed overnight so pain could be managed. I'm home at it's been about 6 days after and I feel good. My cycle was much lighter. So no more flooding and heavy bleeding. I can even start to see a small reduction in my lower abdomen. I chose my doctor due to the types of meds he prescribes for after the procedure. Use of fentanyl seems to be common during the procedure, but I know some docs prescribe oxycontin for aftercare. Percocet or something lighter seems more suitable for me.

@@Nynia3252 the pain was quite severe 2-3 days later but it lasted only 5-7 days. They gave me block so I was fine first 1-2 days. I took cellebrex at first then ibuprofen since I’m sensitive to pain meds.. I’ve had some bleeding and spotting for the first 4 weeks then I got my period which lasted 9 days wasn’t too heavy.
