Have you still been using your utilian everyday with no issues. How many dabs do you do before you start to tasye the reclaim from previous dabs

@@psykobuilds The 5 is still going strong. I haven't noticed any reclaim taste yet. That might depends on your usage, we try different vapes all the time but the 5's been making rounds between a couple of us and it's still going strong.

I've got mine in hand! :) A little shatter and voila! I don't use the airflow thingy as I prefer to control that myself 😊. The battery's not bad, but I wish it lasted all day... Overall, it's my intro to vaping, and I'm thrilled with the experience. I also have the 722, so life is good 👍 If you haven't tried vaping or sitting on the fence - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? ⏲ You actually taste the weed, and your stash goes a long way. @@EnergeticGiraffes for using more or less.....if that were the honest truth, I wouldn't have said anything lol. I know that alone is bullsh**, which is why I said that. Kanthal coils burn slower, and produce better flavor. The triple titanium burns quicker, giving you bigger milking hits at a slight loss of taste. "Use one for more concentrates and the other for less." Hahaha. Thats how you know this lady isn't a true stoner or a pot head, but just a RU-vid reviewer lol. I'm not saying she's dumb.....but she could have done a little more research and gone with some facts instead of just putting in her own opinion and acting like they are facts lol.

Isopropyl alcohol will make quick work of it :)

What do you mean by crackling? Put a small amount of wax, start from the lowest temp. and work your way up and play with the temperature settings and amount of wax you put inside this pen to find your happy place. Everyone's liking is different but this way you can find your sweet spot.

Hi thanks for replying instead of crackling I should of said it was more of a sizzling sound and this was on the highest settings, could that be from putting to much in or maybe not hauling hard enough while pressing the button? In your experience how did you get your biggest clouds? How much product is to much for the coils at one time?

@@benmcfee227 The sizzling sounds is normal, that just means your material is getting vaporized. Too much is when your coil is covered completely by oil, it increases the possibility of leakage.

mine glow red on the coils after pressing the button for a couple second. Does it still hit hard or make big clouds?

You can soak them in isopropyl 90% alcohol for 20 minutes, gently use a q-tip after, and then run a burnoff cycle when you put them back on the battery

You can soak the coils in iso and clean them but with time and long usage the coils will need replacements.

Good for wax, shatter, and those honey-like concentrates, but not made for hash!

You can put a large amount but you will also run a risk of leakage if you have too much in there as excess wax will melt and move around. It's best to load small amounts and keep the atomizers in good shape.

That's right. And on the newest version, it will drip onto the coils from the dab spoon on the mouthpiece.

@@mustbehiggy No lol. And tbh I purchased a Hyperion (same as The Core) e-rig and I haven’t used my Utillian since. The buckets are far superior to the coils in my experience

I’d say when using any kind of vaporizer you should always pulse it’s not like it’s hard

Make sure the coil is twisted on there nice and tight. If it is nice and tight then you may have connectivity issues with your coil and may need a replacement.

Yes! Coils come in packs of 2, so just grab a couple of packs and it'll last you a while, depending on your usage.

Thank you, glad you liked the video. The bubbler attachment is an extra added filtration to make the vapor smoother and more flavorful. If you have a sensitive throat and looking for super smooth vapor then definitely look into the bubbler.

@@Tools420 5 months. I clean it twice a week. I suppose I'll just turn it sideways and twist it off slowly.

ideally you want to use extracts that don't contain any plant matter like Hash or RSO. These leave a lot of waste product behind like ash and it will ruin your coils much faster, for best results you want extracts made from the essential oils of the cannabis plant. Things that are sticky or brittle work great, waxy extracts also work great.

I just got the 5 two or three weeks ago. Time flies when you're having a blast... But sure, you can soak the coils. No problemo! I just picked up a couple of new twisted titanium and shit. It tastes so good with a new coil. Now I can rotate them, soak one overnight while I use the other.

No worries at all. :) The wax is not included with the vape.

You can do wax and shatter. Hash it can vape but not as well as normal dabs.

You can but make sure it is cleaned out thoroughly after. You don't want to inhale any of that stuff later. If it doesn't get cleaned anymore then it's time replace the coils.

You can soak it in iso alcohol for 20 mins before a gentle q tip cleaning. That gram must have gotten you pretty high

The O-ring is the replacement which you can use later on when the one that comes with the vape is worn-out.

adding terpenes to the wax will add more flavor but make sure to add a small amount as it can be runny and leak everywhere.

Yes, most vapes you need to replace the coils unless it's a dish atomizer. They need replacing but they last much longer.

Hey Tee, You could try to clean the coils by dipping them in a bag with some 99% isopropyl alcohol, once it has dissolved everything, give it a light rinse and wait for it to dry. don't try to use a Q-tip or a brush as you could bend the coils and cause it to short circuit or break the circuit by accident. Unfortunately, concentrate atomizers are designed to be disposable and interactable on most devices. Cleaning could help the longevity of the coil but it will still need to be replaced eventually.

@@Tools420 I thought you weren't supposed to get the white band on the bottom wet?

@@teegee289 you are not supposed to, but 99% isopropyl is none conductive so it will not harm any electrical parts in the coil, this is also why I suggested a light rinse. You could try using a damp paper towel to remove the alcohol residue or wait for all the alcohol to evaporate but there still could be some leftover isopropyl residue that could ruin the flavour of your vapour. this is only if you really feel the need to clean it, but the safest alternative is just to get a whole new coil.

@@teegee289 I also feel the need to state that I am referring to the removable coil only and it should be removed from the device before attempting to clean it.

You can't take the actual coil out of the housing but you can unscrew the whole thing from the battery and soak in iso and rinse off. Make sure it is completely dry before using it.

I'd look at the Core 1.0 which uses the same atomizer, but has buckets that you can maintain easier with hash

can I use dab carts with this pen?

@@calebwilson3627 you can but I don’t recommend doing it. I assume you are talking about the carts with the distillate, you can screw it in where the atomizer would go. But the battery isn’t meant for that and there is good chance you will burn your oil if you overuse.

The 510 connector won't really get dirty. For the coils you can use iso q-tips after a session, or if they get gunked up you can soak them in iso or ethyl for 20 mins

Sorry if it wasn't clear but you can soak the coils in iso and rinse them off. However with time those coils will need replacements if gummed up too much.

@@Tools420 thanks, am really thinking about purchasing this unit evenlow it utilizes coils i have never saw black ceramic used and apears to be more absorbent. I am also a fan of using kanthal other than Ti which can give off toxic fumes if heated too much. Also you can pick up the bubbler andnsoare coils for just over a £100. Jusy to decide if to get this or the blaze alsobth3 dabbox pro is a option also but coils do pump big dabs!!

@@cainomusic Yes and heat it up a couple of times to burn off any excess material on there before using it. Don't rinse with pressure as the coils get more fragile with use.

@@Tools420 Just got this back from Utillian: To clean your coils, especially with the twisted kanthal coil, it is not recommended to soak them, as the ceramic on the inside of the coil could be difficult to remove any absorbed alcohol, to clean properly as it is porous. What is recommended for that kind of coil, is that the coil be cleaned with a cotton swab with some alcohol on it, then burn off the excess alcohol by firing your coil several times while empty. If you have a bit of residue build up, it's best to fire your unit upside down to let the wax drip out of the coil, then clean it using the instructions above. Please ensure that you do a heat sanitation afterwards thoroughly before use, as you would not want to have any residual alcohol on the coils. ------ too bad I did it already 😕🤷🏻‍♂️
