On my MacBook Pro M1, I'm using bridged networking. If that all boots up properly, then on your host, you can run `smbutil view //name_of_machine`. That should then list the volumes you've got available. Mounting them `mount_smbfs //machine/share $HOME/mounts/share` (you'll need the directory for $HOME/mounts/share to exist first). What I've not been able to do is mount a share from Mac into Windows XP. This won't be possible as the Mac does not support SMBv1. Only V2+ and XP is ONLY V1 as far as I can tell.

Absolutely, you can do this. Start by creating a folder on your Mac and placing any files you want to access on Windows XP into that folder. Next, open Disk Utility and navigate to "File" > "New Image" > "Image from Folder." Select the folder you created from the dialog box and click "Choose." On the following screen, change the Image Format to "hybrid image (ISO)" and save the file. Finally, rename the .dmg file to .iso. Now, launch Windows XP. Once it has booted up, select the “Drive Image Option” (the third icon on the top right of UTM) and choose the ISO file you just created. You will then be able to access your files from there. Although this process is somewhat tedious, it’s currently the only method that works. If you need to add more files in the future, you'll have to repeat these steps.

@@BreakifyTV haha. Ya. Looks tedious. I will try it. In case I'm stuck, can I share a loom video with steps I've done. It's like I can access the shared drive in mac. But files can't be accessed. Inwill surely try this step. Thanks.

Click it to browse for a Mac directory (folder) you wish to share with the Windows VM. At this point, you can launch the virtual machine again. I had struggles with webdav too. Then I quit it. Try quickftp with the bridged network.

Yes, you should be able to! If it doesn't work, simply search for "Sims 1 Wine" on google. It's an alternative way to run PC games/apps on a Mac.
