We love Fountains Of Wayne. We love Adam Schlesinger. He died a few weeks ago from COVID. He wrote a lot of amazing songs and HOLY SHIT did you know he wrote “Pretend To Be Nice” from Josie And The Pussycats???? Had to throw a scene in there. This is Utopia Parkway from FOW’s 1999 album. Please go check out this dude’s songs if you’re not familiar- he deserves a bigger reputation than a novelty hit song about wanting to bone your friend’s mom- although that is a dope song too.
