ohhhhh I cannot wait to use mine :) they are still staring at me - and you might be shocked to learn I have not actually lost them yet haaaaa that was my biggest fear with the size of the box - I absolutely adore what you made :)

I make tiny inlays too, but I dust them with mica powder first before I lay it in the resin. It easier to see which side to lay down and the color transfers very well. ❤

Yes I have done it that way too 😀😀 if I had had a steady hand I may well have coloured them in detail 🤔🫣😱 but I couldn’t even see it that well 😂😂😀💜

How cool I love this thank you🎉 if you put your sphere on the side fill it with UV resin then do the same thing you just did your design might be facing forward instead of down. If that makes any sense❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I made such tiny inlays once glued it to the bottom and poured resin over them like with normal big inlays but the glue wasn't strong enough and they vanished into the resin so i forgot about it. But with this technique I really should try it again thank you so much 😘

All gorgeous, and the spheres are amazing. Great idea to use the split rings like that. Nail decal moulds are ideal for making miniature inlays, and there's loads of different designs to choose from. Loved this tutorial, thank you so much for sharing x ❤

I have this set of molds! I got this little Xmas set for my nails. I learned how to do my own gel nails, and the polygels and builder gels are like close cousins to UV resin, so I figured why not give resin crafts a try? So here I am, knee deep in mica powders, glitter, and resin, trying to cast dominoes. I got a decent glow in the dark set (so far) waiting for the backing to be poured, hopefully I can give them to my nephews as Xmas presents. My whole kitchen is a disaster from these projects!

@@Toonpish It's fun, but I keep hearing how dangerous it is. Now I'm a bit worried that my kitchen may not be the best place for it, but it's winter here in Wisconsin, so I can't do this in the garage right now, or everything will freeze. I ordered some polymer clay to help mitigate the toxic fumes factor, and I use a heating mat to make the epoxy all cure faster. I don't see a lot of RU-vid resin artists using a heat mat. *Are heating mats bad?*

For the spear ones that you put the hooks in you should have turned the molds side ways, so when you hang them you can see the images better😊❤

Yes but that creates problems sadly 🤨 the biggest one being if you take the piece out and put it back in sideways then the seal is broken and resin will flow around the front. No issue if you use clear resin, but if you use black then you will need to sand that black layer off. It’s totally doable 😀 but more trouble than it’s worth 😀💜

Not necessarily. Just turn the mold sideways, prop it with clay or a small cup. Fill it, cure it, then turn it upright and add the black🙂

The spheres are great, but if they're hanging, wouldn't you have to pick them up upright to be able to see the designs past the black that's on the top? By the way, I had to blow this up to see those inlays 😅

Omg these are next level lol I just watched Claire's video on them! Would it be beneficial to perhaps colour the inlays so they aren't transparent? I'm pretty sure I'd loose them remind me of contact lenses!

😀😀 well yes but then if you use uv resin the light can’t go through it 😂😂😂 🤷‍♀️ maybe I should make some colourful ones 😀😀💜

Hello!! These are so amazing! Im wanting to try using and making inlays as well. Can you use clear stamps as inlays as well, do you know?

Yes you can but they can lift and float up sometimes 🫣 try using glue to hold them down in the mould 😀💜
