I believe Flickerwisp/Ephemerate is a nice combo with cryptic coat if you have a non-creature permanent under the coat that you'd rather have on the battlefield, like a Teferi or a creature with a good etb. You'd exile it, then return it face up to the battlefield.

Love the content as always. Thanks for all the extremely entertaining content! Random gamer thoughts here if anyone wants to entertain. I'm addressing it as if it's to LSV: Is it possible you're getting caught playing too much to the best possible outcome recently? I think there has been a definitive run of bad luck, but I'm trying to sus anything else out. It seems like maybe you are playing to your best possible draw, your op's worst possible draw, the perfect topdecks before or after a mulligan, the best cards to pull from future picks/packs while drafting, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong. That is always a great idea when you don't have other outs or are otherwise backed into a corner. But in general shouldn't the heuristic be to play to what is most likely rather than what would be best? It's like playing as if you'll roll a 10 vs. playing as if you'll roll a 20. I don't think it's that extreme, but maybe tilted a little towards the more explosive plays. FWIW, that is EXACTLY the kind of gamer I am too. It's more fun! Maybe that's why your content is so entertaining - it's ok to not always win and when you do, it's in proper style. Just pondering the underlying heuristics and such here. Thanks again for another fun draft!

Maybe it's worth cutting some of the green ramp for green agro with green struggling? Keep the good one drop ramp cards but out with some of the two mana ones (like wall of roots, sakura tribe elder), and some of the value ones that aren't so good anymore like courser and oracle of mul daya for aggressive cards like strangle root geist or maybe multicolored cards to encourage redgreen agro or green white agro. If you really want to go deep you could even cut craterhoof and natural order. It seems like playing a bunch of dorks and then natural order for hoof isn't as common or good in your cube as the other green combo stuff like draw sevens, channel, and artifacts.

Gotta love when the client just assumes your pick would be Academy and tried to save you some time/ mental effort

It is wild that Cryptic Coat wheeled in pack 1. I think the server hasn't woken up to that addition yet. It may have been the 2nd strongest card in its pack.

FWIW, it's pronounced like 4 "bye-nuh." And if you want "4" it's pronounced basically like "fear" but instead of a hard "r" it's closer to "fia". So "fia bye-nuh" is pretty close :)

So it looks like if you went in on the academy, you'd have had up to 8 cheapish artifacts without losing too much (coat, seat of the synod, staff of the storyteller, thran spider, mox, portable hole, trinket mage or revoker, esper sentinel). Would that have been enough to run it?
