"I'm in your hands... And I am no longer afraid". The voice work is masterful at this point. So much humility and strength at the same time. Such strong devotion. And that sense of security and care that Matron gave him. It moves me deeply. It must have been a very personal moment for him. And after all, Matron saved his life. And the soundtrack is great. Can't wait for the second season OST.

Ancient dragon, remember? They have a shit ton of hit points, a shit ton of resistances, and the ability to regenerate their wounds. Umbrasyl himself has 825 hit points.

@@G.F.SF55Normally, yeah, bc usually being inside a creature counts as being restrained, which means you usually have to succeed a strength check to move or take any action (like cutting yourself free), and against a dragon, a rogue and a bard would never succeed that check, and thus would take round after round of acid damage.

Dragons are really tough and Umbrasyl knows healing magic. I assume, he almost immediately patched himself up enough to make it to the cave, where he healed to full

It's not the only time. At one point during the original podcast, somebody asked the party how determined they were to destroy the dragons. Vax said, "It is our sole purpose." And when I heard it, I thought, "Damn Illidan, when did you join the group?"

Yep. When they decided to make the stream into a show, they needed to change everything that was cannon in DnD bc of copyright issues. So the Raven Queen is now the Matron of Ravens. Pike’s deity was Saranrae, and is now the Everlight. Its also why when they battled the ‘Beholder’ it looked slightly different and had different abilities. But a lot stays the same, bc so much of the original game was Matt Mercer’s creation and world building.

@@anjelica948 i've been re-watching the campaign, and it seems like the Raven Queen was always the matron of ravens,/goddess of death that wasn't changed for the show.
