I recall V being described as “the most grounded one of us”, by the other BTS members. I can easily imagine that HYBE and V’s bodyguards simply uttered sighs of resignation when “afflicted” by this concept from V. It is also so typical that such a spontaneous encounter with a “bear” named “Vee”, would not bring people instantly to the memory of V’s song “Winter Bear”. Remember, the Western “v” sound does not exist in Korean. Myself, 75 years old and female, knowing BTS and V from the perspective of a distant Army who has no expectation of ever encountering any BTS member “casually”, would also likely have been confused and distrustful. At the same time, for me, this video expresses the PERFECT essence of V’s ESSENTIAL person. He asks, “If I, V,should approach you as a completely unknown and unremarkable human being, and then should reveal myself as the “star” you imagine that I am, HONESTLY, how would you meet me, react to me?” For me, this video represents issues of trust and a healthy civilization. I commend V for his commitment to trust!

This is what makes Taehyung a true artist. His album promotion was one of the best and most creative I have ever seen from an artist. He's so down to earth, respectful, genuine, and gives so much of himself to his fans. I absolutely love being a fan of him. His vocals are beyond superior, his dancing is underrated, and of course he's the most handsome man EVER but it's his beautiful heart and soul that makes him shine. He's literally an ANGEL! Layover was and is the best no skip album of 2023. Those people were so lucky!! I'm so happy they got a chance to see him live!
