Everything you see being performed in this video was done using one, single rope!
I began by ascending SRS on a canopy anchor using the tail of an MRS hitch climber setup, which I transform into a V-Rig (another type of MRS).
My TIPs (tie in points) for the V-Rig were created using two homemade and retrievable pulley savers. One around a palm tree off to my right and one around a limb, which you will see me install, off to my left (when viewing wide angle camera footage clips that isn't GoPro).
At the end of this video, while playing around with the positional triangulation that a V-Rig creates, the sprinkler system all around me turns on, and both myself and all of my equipment end up getting soaked with heavily treated water.
I am contractually obligated to say the following...

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! No, nothing was damaged. It's all built to handle that (except maybe not the heavy sediment in the sprinkler water). I've been known to climb when it rains and snows because it adds an element of excitement! What isn't exciting is expecting to be dry and then having the sprinkler system go off and get everything drenched. That sucks lol But it's real life, so I thought it would be fun to share it on here. Not every shoot goes perfectly, just like not every climb goes perfectly. =-D

Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed my video! I definitely wasn't expecting to get myself and my gear totally soaked! Just barely got my camera and audio equipment out of the way in time! Thanks for commenting! =-D

Those angles 😮

When I use actually use a V-Rig, the angles usually aren't so obtuse, but this was very low to the ground, so I had to make it tight. But there's nothing actually dangerous about how I used it in the video because the rope is doubled. Or perhaps you were admiring how awesome the resulting angles are for work positioning? Either way, thanks for commenting!

Wow of all things to happen, the sprinklers going off. I guess mother nature is telling you that your next video should be wet testing your rig. BTW, really good video.

Here I am, living in the desert, where water is so precious and yet my entire complex waters all the grass twice per day. Definitely not going to be climbing that late anymore! Too hot now anyways! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for commenting!

The hotel turned the sprinkler on to get you out of their courtyard 🥹 JK. Get yourself a knee ascender and a chest harness to tend the RRP on ascent. You will be glad you did.🤙

That's my apartment complex haha It's scheduled to go off at that time, but I forgot all about it. I already own a knee ascender and a chest ascender (and a neck tether, which I prefer), but it seemed pointless to use so much additional equipment for a quick, short, and easy 20 foot climb. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I've known about rope walking for awhile now and I have become pretty proficient at climbing that way over the last year or so! It's DEFINITELY the easiest way to ascend a rope out of all climbing methods! =-D
