I did some numbers on autoattacks, a 1-2 combo does the same DPS as a 1-2-3 combo but a 1-2-1 combo does less dmg than a 1-2-3 a 1-2,1-2,+ combo does more dps than 1-2-3,+ combos because of the windup after the 3rd hit The Most dps weapons for a single 1-2-3 combo are (missing the whisp) Spear, Pistol, they +30% more dps Greatsword, Sword they do 10% more dps Slashers do -10% dmg All other close range weapons do the same standard dps Bow does -20% dmg Crosbow with mark does standard dps. And for continous combos 1-2-3,1-2-3,+ All do the same dps except Spears doing +15% more dps. Slashes doing -15% Ranged weaponds (not pistol) doing +20% dps So for the maximum dmg, acording to math, we have to do 1-2,1-2,+ combos using spear,pistols > crossbow (if marked) > greatsword,sword (the other weapons are not worth it for autoattacks) Also, I noticed that locking the camera made me more accurate and consistent on dash combos and telegraphed abilities. Made a script to test this that doesn't require any mods called VRisingCameraScript if someone whants to test it.

I don't use shortcuts, I'm used to play with all the way to 0 from other mmorpgs's but I suggest people to use mouse bindings or custom bindings to swap weapon because it's hard to press after 5.
