As a note since this has been called out to me and I think it is fair criticism! Illusion dash as of now has a potential hidden bonus of a 30% dmg debuff. This might be a bug but I wanted to call that out in case it's intentional. Unholy dash travels the furthest of all dashes When speaking about frost shield when I say no spell power I meant no added spell power such as from a witch potion or shards!
Veil of Illusion could definitely be #1 in my opinion, or at least #2. My friend uses it all the time in our 1on1 duels and for a melee build like your Sword build it can be an absolute nightmare as you can't really chase them with your own dash since they'll just jump back, and if you stay close to the original spot they just won't jump back.
This ranking is a lot closer than like #1 is flat out better in every situation than #4. Obviously a lot of it comes down to your build and playstyle. Illusion specifically a big reason I have it lower is because it is a bit higher of a skill level needed to be able to really perform well so I don't recommend it to everyone :)
I wish you also add the info about dash length and speed - most underestimated values among all guides out there. Big fan of green dash cause the fastest and the furthest - on different scenarios speed or length are crucial in pvp! Include these values next time - i promise guide would be even better with it :)
Agree with frost being first, but unholy I think is so underrated. In team fights that projectile is unflinching weakness on 4 people as well as doing a total of 100% magic damage, as well as the fact that it’s the longest dash there is.
I really think the dashes depend on what kit you're using (weapons, spellstone). I personally think the amplify dash is amazing with the sword, blood shield or power surge. The swords spin synergizes really well with it. By having the knockup you have something to buy time during cooldowns and the blood shield allows for my survivability along with a beast stone

I agree, been using frost dash ever since I unlocked it, the others are nice too but frost is just so much value for no effort. Plus it applies chill, doesn't that slow? or set up a freeze from teammate at least
The dashes are pretty balanced. Even Veil of Blood is pretty good with rogue blood. It's super aggressive and that phase out is really good for pushing through attacks. It's a complete waste if you don't dodge straight in like said though. Best for 1v1s imo and if you crit w rogue blood on the follow up attack that's pretty big damage considering you get +5%hp and possibly phased through 2 point blank attacks of theirs.
Veil of Illusion i think needs a buff. somethin like the illusion autos then next target you hit. . its annoying to use in pve because it will almost always kill a traget youre trying to drain and pvp it has potatoe aim
I think brute needs a buff. Right now pure melee / leech builds feel a bit behind in combat. In PVP slightly, in PVE a lot. Right now warrior outclasses brute in almost every setup I can think of.
Definitely, only thing brute is good for is bulldozing low level bosses that you skipped without having to dodge or worry about fight mechanics at all.
