Great sound I have a white one 2014 stock exhaust sounds awful, I think I’ll do that, some people says that you can have problems with the back pressure and lose some torque and power, but I’ll check that with my mechanic, sound great, that’s the way a VROD Muscle should sound
I've got Rinehart pipes on my 2004,pretty much true duels, open,it sounds great, but real loud,at least the length puts the sound behind me a little bit.No.these will never sound like Softails,ect..more like a Nascar car.
My bike is such a wide open beast, the only time it might bother me is on 10 hr. day ride, but it sounds so great, especially burble on deceleration, getting new tires, next week, stock Dunlops not my favorite.Ride safe, nice bike.
It's a shamee that Harley had to ditch the beautiful V-Rod series with gorgeous looking & sounding Porsche built engines just bcz some Harley extremists took it too far :(
I have this bike,...you just take off the extended pipes,...easy,..thats it,..no other adjustments needed,...& the sound is awesome,..plus it looks better,... You lose you passenger pegs but you can buy others thats would work.
Muffler delete: He just removed the exhaust which has a lot of packing (baffle) in it which is heavy. I did the same to mine. It’s the cheapest way to get sound actually free when you do it yourself. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dcWSem1YrDM.html
