Tae's "first take" performance got h0e$ mad so bad cuz how dare Taehyung sound exactly like studio while singing in just one take with a mic that even records slightest sounds like gulping and all! Moreover he changed the notes so effortlessly like HOW DARE HE BE THIS CONFIDENT

We share the same thoughts on the wonderfullness of the beautiful tones of Kim Taehyung, not only do I love hearing him but watching him sing, so effortless, no overworking the movement of his mouth or shouting, just standing, relaxed, happy and enjoying every moment of doing it. Love him too, he never fails to make me smile, he is so mischievous and sweet.

Taehyung is so cool and full of vibe. His album is really good, no wonder "Layover" won the "Favorite Debut Album" award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in April 2024, ranked 2nd in Best K-pop Album of 2023 by Billboard, and ranked 19th in 2023 top 30 best albums by British TimeOut (V being the only K-pop artist in the list). 'Rainy Days' was ranked 58th in Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Songs of 2023 (the highest ranking song by a K-soloist). “Slow Dancing” won the 2023 TMA Best Music Autumn (by votes).

Genuinely can't believe this was live and done in ONE TAKE. You bro, we need to be insufferable with vocalist Taehyung praise. We are NOT loud enough. His vocals were so perfect tht I thought it was the studio version but I knew it wasnt cus it sounded better. This was FLAWLESS.

I always love your BTS reactions Brian, especially when it comes to Taehyung’s cause you always notice the nuances and the subtle details like his Adlibs and the variations from the recorded version and you appreciate them and his honey warm vocals. Taehyung’s voice is definitely my comfort place, it just feels so pure and clean and soothing, like a world without pollution. The premise of First Take which is a Japanese programme is recording in one take, no cut’s no do overs just you the Mic and the track, so very few Artists take up the challenge. It was lovely to see Tae went viral in Japan because of this flawless performance. I also love that Tae really during Layover got so many of us to appreciate the instrumental’s in music, letting the space breathe. From what he said in his Spotipoly appearance it was a deliberate choice to let everyone who is leading hectic lives have a moment of peace and calm and a respite and really that’s why I think Layover resonates with so many of us and is such a comforting healing album… it literally gives us breathing space. 8:39 It’s funny you should say this… this wasn’t sponsored clothing though, at the time we were all amused by the shot choices too and since all the parts they randomly focused on have a fandom of their own and their own dedicated accounts on social media it was hilarious but turns out the cameraman was a fan of Tae or Tete as he is known in Japan (Japanese have difficulty pronouncing his stage name V so Tae’s official stage name in Japan is Tete. Namjoon is known as Namu etc) The cameraman who shot this posted on social media afterwards. It’s always lovely to hear testimonials of those who work with Tae gush about him afterwards. Tae is that rare artist who sounds even better live than on the studio version. I am so happy he has been giving us so many live performances of his songs from LayoVer and now also with FRI(END)S. Layover is also my Top Album. Tae is just so talented His voice is so beautiful w/ so many layers to it. Not just one sound . His voice could be edgy, hard, booming, smooth, buttery, velvety,calm , deep, high, rich texture and sexy! His effortless dance moves and top notch gorgeous face , built and personality is a bonus! In case you didn’t know. Layover won the very First “Favorite Debut Album” at iHeart recently. The ONLY Korean album nominated in the category out of 10 other albums nominated from all over the world! So proud of him! Only once in an Artists career that they’ll ever win for a “Debut” album!

First of all, Slow Dancing is my fav from Layover ❤❤ The instrumental part in the end reminds me of Indian music from when I was a kid 🥹 Such nostalgia! Then his voice is just sooooo chocolatey 💗 and unexplainably smooth! So clear that it feels like he eats CDs in his breakfast, lunch and dinner 😂😂❤ Such a nice song! That high note...geesh!! Anyways, I just love his voice. I don't know if you have seen it or not, but on Bon Voyage 4 (I think) he does a cover of Lay Me Down by Sam Smith that is just WOW!
