The guitarrist is John Eun, the pianist is DOCSKIM, both played with RM at his NPR Tiny Concert. He appears in the last RM vlog too, working with RM on his Indigo album. I usually don't like christmas songs hehehe but since V released his christmas gift I have it almost in repeat 🙂and now... if this video was a vinyl I'd ruin it listening every single day all the time hehehe I'm praying for having a V's jazzy album!!! Yes, Tae is a baritone. Their voices together are stunning. I've always loved a good crooner, Harry Connick is a favourite of mine and I grew up listing to Bing Crosby at Christmas and watching Jerry Lewis movies so this takes me back to my childhood when the old Rat Pack was a thing. BTS are just so versatile it's ridiculous, Noone holds a candle to them💜

Over the years, he has sung K-pop songs composed for tenors. Still, he is able to sing out of his comfortable range. Have you heard the snippet of his jazz composition, Maybe? It will blow your mind too! Western media complimented him for raising the bar of the Korean music scene. He’s re-introduced jazz to the K-pop world. His jazz vocals received compliments from the estate account of his idol Bing Crosby and the fans of his Jazz Queen Lady Gaga. When KTH1 drops which consists of different music genres, we'll be in heaven!

The guitarist is John Eun who you would know as one of RM’s closest friends. He co-wrote and produced RM’s Indigo album songs Forg_tful and Part 2. The pianist is Docskim who also was part of Indigo co writing and producing Wildflower with RM!

If I’m not mistaken I think these songs are from what is referred to as the American Standards or the Great American Songbook. They are songs written back in the 20s thru the 50s before rock and roll took over. They were mostly written for movies and Broadway musicals. Today Taehyung posted an Instagram story with pictures of him and Lady Gaga when he met her last year. Everyone is speculating a collaboration between them since she also loves the standards. Whatever Tae decides to do I’m all for it. So glad you enjoyed this performance. I had a mental picture of you dancing around with a broom while cleaning your house to these songs 🤣🤣. I loved this too! It was so V. 😊It was great to see/hear this live version of Its Beggining to Look a Lot Like Christmas, but I was also so happy to hear him perform Cheek to Cheek. It was such a nice surprise, I love that song. So the first time I heard it sung was the original by Fred Astaire. Brings back memories - back when I was in my late teens Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies used to be played on TV late every Sunday night. I remember watching a whole lot of them and loved all the jazz songs like this one and ended up buying myself a Fred Astaire CD which had all the songs he sung in his movies. Fred Astaire was an amazing dancer but also had a beautiful voice and the production on all the songs with his voice and a full live orchestra or jazz band sound so good🤌 Both V and the lady singing with him (I believe her name is Seo Minna) sing the song so well together!! I only wish there was a little more interaction between them and would have loved for this to have been even longer. 💜🎵 and I really, really hope we get some official recorded songs in this style from V on his album 🤞
