Beautiful market bag! I love this stitch but when I work it up it is never as defined as i see on other peoples works. Have to review this tuturial with more attention to see where I am going wrong!

Up until you do the handles the video is good. I would like to see the handle chain attached on both sides and crochet around and in the handles. That 1sc doesn't seem strong enough.

You can add as many rows of sc as you want to thicken up the handles. It just depends on what you are going to use it for. And Remember you do what works best for you. Thanks For watching.

I have made quite a few crochet bags and find my handles stretch too much. Do you think if I do the handles with the cotton yarn combined with a matching number 10 thread that would help prevent the stretch without harming the bag especially for laundering? This one is pretty.
